Lots of choices for shawarma, lamb, beef and chicken. Great spice. The garlic cheese fries are a must!
Tragedy of tragedies! The shawarmas here are good, but this place once had the best fries on the eastside, in my opinion - perfectly crunchy and puffy, while soft on the inside, and so delicious with their amazing garlic sauce. However, it seems like they went downhill in the last few months - their garlic sauce is now much more watery than it used to be, and they changed out their fries for a brand which lack crunch and feel undercooked. I'd love to see them return to form one day.
Every week or so I crave the Chicken Shawarma from this place, so I go and it never disappoints. Whatever it is you order, make sure you ask them for some extra garlic sauce--its very good.
So good, so addicting. We try to get extra garlic sauce and put it on everything
This is my only favorite shawerma place in Seattle. The downside is that even if I order the same thing each time I have a 50/50 chance of getting it exactly like that. There’s often inconsistencies on how the order is made. The majority of my orders are done via their site for pickup so it seems to be the case that they don’t read carefully. I had the same issue when I ordered delivery tonight along with missing items (I called them and they agreed I can get my next items for free). I would recommend ordering in house to guarantee you’ll get your food how you want it. If the manager is there then I know it will be an amazing wrap but other than that it’s usually mediocre. I’ll still come here every now and then but that’s really the main downside for me.
Update: I drove back to Shawarmaniac, amd spoke with a youngan who is quite kind.. I explained to.him what happened and he kindly made my food fore. The food is WONDERFUL. Delightfully tasteful and worth the trouble. I then noticed the owner respo ded with an update on order placement, very much appreciated. This is my first experience with this restaurant! I placed my order online and paid for it!! and received a message that my order would be ready for pickup at 10:15am! I drive across town and this place is closed! So I paid for food that I did not receive!!
Shawarmaniac is open on Christmas! We know this because we went here on Christmas night for some late dinner. We ended up getting a Chicken Plate and Garlic Fries (large). This is probably the best Mediterranean food I've had since I've got here, and I've tried a couple of places in my area. The Chicken plate comes with a side of salad, and it helps cut the slight greasiness of the plate of food. The Garlic Fries come with feta, garlic sauce, and hot sauce. I can't get enough of these fries. I could honestly just get the fries and be happy. I really recommend the fries here! They are so crisp and potato-y...
Ok. Wow. I ordered the Lamb Shawarma plate, and received an avalanche of rice.Seriously.I Googled if there was a rice shortage around the world based on how much rice I received in relation to meat+veggie. I didn't know, and I feel sorry for any families that are in need of rice tonight. That being said:Not that good. I've finally tried bland shawarma.Overpriced, very few veggies, but the order came quickly.I may try again. I'll let you know.
I love this place. I almost always get the chicken bowl, which you can request to be mild, medium or extra spicy. The chicken is very moist and flavorful and the garlic sauce is divine. They have delicious food and are accommodating to those who can’t either gluten or dairy/egg. It’s great how they label which items are gluten free / dairy free on the online menu. The only strange thing is that I’m unsure if/when they sell baba ghanoush, which I would order every time if I could. It is unavailable to order online but I did order it in-person once (the worker added for me as I was not able to locate it on the ordering system), so they must have it sometimes? I’m unclear as to what’s going on there. Would be nice to have all the time.
We had chicken shawarma and kafta platter, with falafel, fries and a wrap. Fresh food and tasted good. Big halal sign on front door.
