Used to eat there all the time prior to covid. At the beginning I ordered an enchiladas meal , got home and they were flat due to nothing in them of substance. Did not go back until a week ago. Sat down to eat. Ordered a chimiconga meal and my friend ordered a faita meal. Both ordered steamed veggies. She asked for no onions. Had to return her meal due to onions. My meal, I ordered one chicken and one beef, both were chicken. The veggies in both were over cooked and mushy. It appears the chef does not know how to cook or read the orders. My opinion and I won't be back.
Being from TX I had to satisfy my mexiacn food craving. I looked high and low...but could find nothing.. but from a distance I saw a Plaza Garcia express food truck. My heart skipped a beat as I got closer.. and I drooled a little when I saw that they had authentic Mexican food, especially burritos.. we ordered burritos de carne asada...quesadillas and churros. Let me tell you...this burrito is tied for first with my favorite from San Francisco mission district. The green and red salsa was exceptional.
Delicious food. The staff is very friendly. I always enjoy the cooks yelling good-bye when we leave. Carlos is the best! This is a family favorite for 15 years and continues to be!
Very good food on a consistent basis. Bonus! - They also do an especially nice job of packaging the takeout orders so everything is easy to carry to the car.

We ordered two burritos for pick up. Unfortunately it wasn't very good. Overall it needed more flavor. The rice inside the burrito was dry and I had a vegetarian burrito and barely had any beans inside and no cheese. Filling was minimal. Was very watery with all the tomatoes. The tortilla chips needed some salt. The red salsa was really good. There are lots of good reviews here and my husband said they were very friendly when he picked up so maybe it was just a miss for us.
The fajitas are delicious, carne asada also , just the salads aren’t excellent ( are dry) but in general Mexican food is good , customer service are super good , could be nice if they offer natural juices ?
Hands down, THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD—and I say that, having a full-blooded, Mexican mother-in-law.Dinner and drinks with the wifey, and then a hike and lake views at OO Denny Park made for the perfect early-autumn evening.Service was also exemplary.Try the Carne Asada burrito!! ?

There was nothing to eat at home tonite so I thought I would grab takeout from Plaza Garcia. I asked for a Burrito and the young lady chose which one for me, what a surprise when I got home. Like no Burrito I have had before ....really excellent. Firstly I was really hungry, just as well as it was a large portion size, but it tasted so good and fresh. I will be going back here for sure. Well done Plaza Garcia, I hope others read this to keep your customers coming and support your business.
