My family often orders take-out from Noppakao restaurant and over the years have seen many changes from total management changes to staff and food quality changes. Although the changes suppose to help, it hasn't worked well in their favor from my perspective. The quality is suffering and also there had been times that they missed one or two items from the order (ended up driving back to pick up). The last one, which was my last trip to this restaurant, topped it all out and hence my review. Placed an order on the phone for a take-out (left a cash tip in the jar), but when I got home realized they missed 2 orders of plain white rice. I called to let them know and allow them time to respond. The front desk person denied it and kept telling me that I should look for it in my bag. With guests at home, I decided to drive back to the restaurant to get the missing rice. When I got there, the front desk still kept telling me that she included it even though I showed the picture of all items in my possession - it was a very unfriendly conversation, to say the least. Finally got the rice, however, when later received the charge on my credit card, it was $26 more. You can decide what could have been the reason (I believe they added their own additional tip), but I have reported the additional charge and my family no longer plan to visit this restaurant. For Thai food, I will take the extra drive to Isarn in downtown Kirkland (better quality and friendly) or other restaurants nearby.
I've tried the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Tom Kha Gai. Pretty basic dishes, but all met my expectations. Good food, but service could use some improvement. Restaurant seems like it would have a nice ambiance in non-pandemic context.
First of all they are extremely slow like other have mentioned. If you are a delivery driver beware! They are extremely rude, will pick others before you. You will actually be sitting there and they will be smirking. When I asked how long it will be the staff told me don't worry about it and sit down lol.. Wish this was fake news, but unfortunately they don't like delivery drivers.
Excellent Thai food. We have been going here for many years (lately ordering food), but always with 100% satisfaction. We also discovered a VERY TASTY soup, Tom Kah, which you really need to try. I have also had a couple types of curry (along with some other dishes), but my "go-to" dish would have to be the (wide noodle dish) Phad Kee Mao.
Ordered a noodle dish. It was so bad. It didn’t have any flavor. I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this place by far is the worst one. Would not recommend it. I talked to other people too and they had the same bad experience.
They have fresh and aromatic stir-fried noodle dishes, fried rice, and curry. We've had takeout from here several times and every dish we've tried is good! The mango sticky rice is tasty as well. The monthly coupons in Valpak make this restaurant an even better value. I highly recommend this local spot for your next Thai food meal.
Check your takeout order!!! Placed a $95 order for a smorgasbord of dinner options. Picked up on time. The paper bags were stapled shut so I didn’t bother checking the contents. Bring it home (20 min drive) and discover that they forgot three different sides of rice. Thai food just isn’t the same w/o rice. Called the restaurant and was essentially told to go fly a kite. The best they could do was refund the rice which they mentioned is FREE with most entrees. Yep, they offered to give me a refund for my FREE items. What a farce.
Located in the Juanita Beach area in Juanita Village oh, I really enjoy there Thai food. Good size menu with lots to choose from. Fast service.
I order Uber eats on Thanks giving evening. After an hour there was no driver so I went to pick It up myself. Not only did they stay open late on TG so I could come get my food, they remade it so it was hot when I picked it up AND gave me some free spring rolls. Appreciate you guys.!
This place is great! Wonderful atmosphere, exceptional customer service, and reasonably priced food.
