I came today and ordered super nachos and took it back to my job for me and my coworker to eat and we both started feeling sour in our stomachs and boom we have been puking non stop. 26$ later down the drain/ when I called to tell them about it - the lady was super defensive about it when I told her what was happening she stated “no one ever has told us in 33 years about food poisoning or anything / I said well I’m letting you know we were fine up until I ate there.Chips were burnt/soft/ salty carne Asada, mushy, cheese and green onion was way to much. Anyway first time eating there and the way she acted when I mentioned how sick we are seemed like it went over her headWorst place EVER’
I cannot believe I’ve lived in the area for a few years and haven’t eaten here before! La Corona has the best Mexican food I have eaten! Portion sizes are ridiculously huge and everything taste amazing! Margaritas to go are great!Update: Margaritas are still kickin!
I've been there many times now and the staff is friendly and attentive even when busy. I always look for good tamales and they definitely have them. It's the same price as regular Mexican places but better tasting food. The servings are what you'd expect and their drinks are good too. They also have a bar area separate from the dining area. It's mostly locals that go there (I think) so you get that "family feel" and are able to have a comfortable experience. They also have karaoke on Saturday which is fun (:
WOW! Dishes are sooooo big!!! Definitely seee this place if you are hungry ? or love to eat a lot!
The best Mexican food around! We have been going to La Corona for 10+ years and have never been let down.
Food and service are always fabulous at La Corona! I got the 2 beef enchilada plate. Very generous portion and very tasty!
I've never had this complaint before.... The food is to good and the portions are huge!My wife and I came in for drinks and appetizers and couldn't finish them!OMG this place is great and the music is non stop greatest hits!!
After working to downsize our storage unit (10 hrs total!) We were exhausted, not to mention HUNGRY. My sister was visiting from Beaverton, OR. and wanted Mexican food - not fast food but a sit down place...at almost 8 pm on a Saturday night or choices were limited. I remembered that I had eaten at La Corona yrs ago, so we ventured there hoping that it was open AND we could "Dine in". Long story short : the food was very good and the staff was tremendous. So glad that we had a great time, can't wait to go back...
Staff is far above average. The bar, inside to the right, can get pretty loud. It is so weird how a bitter tasting liquid can make people exceedingly loud. What if there was a liquid with a sweet taste that made people exceedingly quiet? You could serve those drinks in a library, assuming none of them are blended. Of course, you still would not have nachos. One more reason to avoid book learnin' if you ask me.
Very close to authentic tasting mexican food. Good portion size too!
