I love this spot overall! Absolutely bananas how much good coffee costs. The pastries are good but dang they are so expensive for what you get.
Very cute, convenient, nice break from S-......food offerings are a bit limited, but what they do have is very good - egg bites for those of us on hi protein, lo carb....very nice baristas, there's only ever one batista who works very hard and gets orders out pretty darned quick! Ample seating, bright, pleasant.
Server there would not let me order coffee because I didn't bring a mask, despite the mask mandate being over. She also did not have any masks for customers to use. This happened at around 3 pm today.I have previously gotten coffee at this establishment with a mask when there was a mask mandate and also without a mask after the mandate was removed.

I love this place! The coffee tastes perfect and the people are very kind and helpful. I only downgraded a star because they aren't open early enough for me to grab coffee before work.
When I walked into Ladro caffé this morning I remembered why I love community. My ideas flowed while sitting on the wooden table that was built for the surface tablet, although my pens of many colors sat beside me I felt that I never needed them to sketch this beautiful mural of the community that walked through your doors or hung on your walls. Meilani's knowledge of coffee is as diverse as the customers walking through the door. Her conversation and relation to the guests as they walked in set this café apart from every other coffee shops in Seattle and the local mushroom chai made the top list of great places you must experience in Kirkland. Meilani appreciates and understands the person that walks the earth to find the best farms, or great art that is placed on the walls and most importantly the person standing in front of the counter making their day a little better with a product well sourced and finely crafted. This is Kirkland and this is my favorite in Seattle.
Great selection of sweet and savory pastries, quiches, and breakfast sandwiches. Delicious drip coffee and cute retail area — they sell their in-house pumpkin spice syrup for drinks! Meghan was very knowledgeable about the differences in coffee beans used in the various beverages I was inquiring about. I'll be stopping by again ☺️
