We arrived eager to enjoy a meal here. There were many tables filled with people who looked like they could personally judge good Mediterranean food so that was a good sign! However, when my husband and I (nice pasty white skinned, middle aged folk) stepped into the dining area, we were met with immediate stares from several patrons (and not friendly faces either). A group of 4 people (including a white guy and Asian woman) sat at the large table outside. We saw a darker skinned woman waiting for take-out and two empty tables. When the server got to us we asked for the smaller 2 person table near the window; he said it was full. (Full?? No one was there and no one was waiting for a table.) He did not offer the larger booth to us either. There was no explanation given for the server's strange comment and lack of assistance; he did not even offer take-out to us. After waiting about a few minutes after his last comment, we just left. VERY ODD!!
Delicious food. I was full but couldn't stop eating. The appetizer itself was already a good meal.
One of the best meals I've had recently. Enjoyed the lunch special gyros plate; food was amazing - even the hummus, usually bland to me - was flavorful! The service was fast, friendly & efficient - really cannot recommend them highly enough!
Unless you somehow count Persian food in the Mediterranean food group, the name of establishment is misleading, but the food is amazing. The quality of meat is great, their kababs, chicken, lamb chops are all great. My favorite dish is Fessenjood, just the right amount of sweetness.
Really nice restaurant. Very yummy authentic Persian food. The grilled plate was superb and chicken tenderloins for kids were very soft and juicy. The soltani and waziri and kobideh were all awesome. They have a big side and a rice plate with each dish. It was more than one could finish. The service was timely and hospitable. I like it overall.
We liked our Soltani and Vaziri Kabaabs? But, Rice and Koobide Kabaab could be better!
TL:DR - As Taco Bell is to Mexican this is to Mediterranean.Decent hummus and falafel but everything outside of those is a rather resounding disappointment. Everything is served with cost savings in mind and is definitely too expensive. Plenty of pre-shredded lettuce and two olives. I will go in basically any direction for 10 minutes and find better. Even at the bottom of the lake.
Overall AMAZING. From the food to the genuine hospitality, this my favorite place for Iranian food. The amazing appetizers, kabobs, and the saffron ice cream made me feel like I was in Iran, except better. Definitely going back.
Hi Everyone,I really wanted to write this review and give 5 stars for this Persian restaurant. I was there with my wife last week, and we dined in. The food was so delicious and the portions were so big that we had to request take-out boxes! I recommend the King's Choice dish that comes with extremely delicious and soft rice with three types of meat skewers: Chicken, beef, and Kobeidah. All the meat was grilled and the chicken had a lemon flavor which was so refreshing! The dish also comes with two sides of rice or salad. We chose both instead of having two sides of rice or two sides of salad. It really depends on preference. As an appetizer, we started with the smoked eggplant dip that comes with pita bread. I also recommend this. They have 2 eggplant sides, but we only tried the smoked one. Finally, I have to say that "Aria" was so courteous and kind. He was professional and patient, and we felt very comfortable eating there. "Vahid", the cook, was a real chef! The food as I said was so delicious and well-cooked. The salad plate was so organized and well-decorated as well. We just discovered this place in Kirkland, and we will definitely go back and dine there. I recommend this restaurant because we had a great experience! Thank you Aria and Vahid for the great service and the great food!
We live there food and must say best mouth watering delicious food !!!
