The owner is the sweetest lady ever! She is very knowledgeable on tea. It was me and my boyfriends first time going in here and we were blown away! We have been on a tea drinking binge and we will for sure keep coming back!
A truly unique and exquisitly designed tea shop. Locally owned and operated, I was pleased to find a better selection than many of the tea shops I visited when living in New York City. The owner even makes her own boba, and it is absolutely delicious. The tea class offered by the owner was a fantastic experience and truly broadened our understanding of how various types of tea are made and the attributes/uses for each. A true bargain at $25 per person (recommend max 4). The full attention and great conversation while enjoying high quality tea made for an immensely rich experience.
Makao makes the best bubble tea here! She even makes the boba from scratch. The bubble tea is delicious, hot or cold, and it's a great spot to fill up on all of your specialty teas as well. I'd highly recommend taking one of her tea classes if you have the time as well, you'll learn so much, even if you already think you know a lot and/or drink tea regularly. We took one with a couple of our friends and it made for a really nice afternoon.
Great tea and vibe that made my doggie smile :) Ma Ko - the tea lady - is amazing. We had a tea tasting experience and bought tea after. She educated us on hot water, tea, and is a fabulous story teller. She even explained how tea was found in the beginning, and how different kinds of tea are harvested in the field. Some tea (especially green tea) is so scarce and only produced at small quantities - that makes it more expensive than others. I’ll for sure come back!!
The owner is super caring of her patrons. She takes meticulous care of teas and ice cream orders to go. This place offers a full range of experiences all things tea related from classes, tastings, to tracking of teas you've tried, gift sets and a huge variety of teas. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.
This place is an absolute gem! Amazing variety of quality products and an maxing owner who is very knowledgeable about tea! Go in for a tasting and pick out your favorite teas and learn how to brew them properly. Every tea enthusiast should come visit this place. I’m excited to come back for a small tea tasting with my friends. I will always come here for my tea for now on.
Stop reading and go here! I refuse to get bubble tea anywhere else. Her taro flavor is genuine, not the weird syrup taste some places use. Highly recommend taro ice cream add bubba on top! The melon flavor taste like biting into a fresh honeydew! You can choose sweetness level in the bubble tea as well. Owner is super sweet and funny!
Great tea shop, with large selection. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable of her products. If you have the time I would recommend the tea tasting that is offered; It gave the chance to try some new oolong and have a nice chat with the owner.
Such a lovely experience everytime! My favorite tea shop for a unique variety of tea leaves that smell and taste amazing! Tea tasting is a delightful experience and the bubble tea is delicious. My favorite spot in Washington!
