We wanted to buy a small bowl which is on the menu. They told us we had to get large unless we were eating in, but of course we could not eat in because they were closing within 25 minutes of ordering so we were forced to buy a large bowl. It’s crazy they have these rules that are not mentioned anywhere. What a way to scam people for more money. We’re black too so don’t know if that made a difference or not but I feel highly offended these people felt the need to scam me out if my money when I didn’t want a large and had wanted a small.
Nice staff, covid friendly place to sit down and have some fabulous food,. The spring rolls were delicious crunchy and fresh the egg rolls were fresh hot deliciously crispy only teriyaki was sweet yet savor at the same time the bowl that we ordered came out and was beautiful I also ordered some hot green tea which was enough for both me and my guest
They're really nice people. And the food is always really good. :) My favorite dish is the chicken chow mein or stir fry.
This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the greater Seattle area. My wife and I come here often. She's Vietnamese and says the restaurant's food is the same as in Vietnam. I would agree. We've tried SO many other places, and this restaurant is truly authentic. The broth in the pho is always hot (temperature).That's how it's served in Vietnam, day or night, and just the right amount of ginger in the broth that really sets itself apart from other restaurants. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. Also, it's the only restaurant we can find the serves Bahn Can Coua (crab noodle soup). The services is great as well. When we eat here, it takes me back to Ho Chi Minh, Cam Rahn, and Nah Trang city.
25jan2022 ~12:30 Swee and i dropped in Saigon Soul for lunch. The restaurant was nice and clean. There were a few diners. The Staff were friendly and courteous. We had the Bun Bo Hue (Beef Nooodles Soup), and the Com Tam Suom Bi Cha (Pork Chop, etc with Rice) .. A little surprised by the what seemed to be a piece of Pork in the Beef Noodles soup .. no matter, Swee loves the Pork .. Both the Bun Bo Hue, and the Com Tam Suom Bi Cha were tasty ???
I would have given 4 stars if it weren't for the most recent visit which was extremely disappointing. I came to get a small pho take our order, however the lady told me I could ONLY order large pho for take out. I was really confused because I had just been there about 2-3 weeks prior and ordered a small pho take out (with the same lady taking my order). I asked her how come I couldn't order a small because I had recently ordered a small. She told me for take out, it's large only. But if I dined in I could order small. Thought that was strange. I wonder if they are still asking people to order large pho for take out? Or does it depend on the person or how much someone is ordering?Since I was already there, I just ordered a large pho take out. When I got home and opened up the package, I found that was portion was SO small (it was less than the small order). The limes were dry. They only gave me 3 thin beef slices. And the broth was so bland. I wonder if the lady told the cook to do this on purpose? :( I've been to this pho place over 15 times and it's normally pretty good, not the best, not the most consistent, but good enough. I would just come here if I was in a hurry since this is the closest pho place to me.Now, I am going to other Vietnamese restaurants even if they are further because I'm finding way better customer service and consistent food taste/portions.I would highly recommend people to go elsewhere.
They don’t do modifications. Cilantro tastes like soap to me, so I asked for no cilantro on my banh mi. They put cilantro on it anyway.
One of the top places for Vietnamese food in the Greater Seattle Area. The highlights are the noodle soups for sure.
Really good food. Some of the best Asian food I've had living here in Washington. It's almost LA good.
