I've done takeout here three times now. The quality of the food seems pretty good and the taste is delicious. The dim sum menu is a little limited compared to other places, but what they have is done well. I can't comment on the other dishes as this is one of my places to pick up dim sum when I'm on the road and I haven't ordered from the dinner menu.
It's pricey, overpriced for many of their food items. But I still go back when we seriously crave for dim sum and authentic Chinese dishes. It's nearby our house. You don't get a breakdown/receipt of what you ordered and you will most likely be surprised how much you have to pay for small amount of food/dim sum. Every time I order, it's like $20/dish and somehow extra fees here and there. If the price is not an issue for you, then it's not a bad choice for authentic Chinese food. I always have to be ready to pay for $80-100 for 4 dishes.
Do yourself a favor and stay away. We were charged over $10 per tiny dim sum plate (two items per plate). Ordered 5 two piece dim sum plates and one fried rice and the total came to $62?! Prices are high everywhere, I get that, but $10 for a tiny plate of two pieces of food?? That is too much, and taking the price inflation too far. This place is not up to cleanliness standards of food safety let alone during COVID. The staff was not friendly and overly pushy with the dim sum items during the period it was served. Triumph is just down the street on e valley hwy and far superior in getting what you pay for, quality of food, and not being overcharged. Triumphs food is great, and the food here was not. As a foodie, I wouldn't return based on their food quality alone, to say nothing of the bad service and ridiculous price points.I called to complain that I was overcharged... I was cut off repeatedly and the employee said "hey lady,".... in order to interrupt me. WOW..... I will NOT be going back, ever. Really unprofessional.
Great customer service and great food! Love the dinner combo and hot pots. Start with some dim sum from the cart while you look for your mains
Great chow fun, great dumplings, great gai lan. Didn't get to try the har gao, but definitely will next time. Everything is fresh, and full of flavor. If you're waffling about whether or not to come here, waffle no more, this is where you should go tonight.
Food is always good here. The price is a little high but with the pandemic it's understandable.
Very expensive for Dim Sum. $60 for two and really not a lot. Food was fine just that price for lunch is out of bounds. I guess COVID issue again. Would come pre-pandemic and pay $45 for 3 people. Almost sicking price for lunch. Oh well you live and learn.
Food is good but bad service and very expensive dim sum…. We ordered only 8 items but they marked it down 9 … watch out …. They are cheating… so disappointed ???
The place has decent dim sum but they are not very clean. Prices are inline with other dim sum houses. They do have a great salt and pepper squid dish. That is why I gave them 4 stars.
The dim sum here was absolutely delicious! I havent had dim sum this good in a loong while. Im always very happy to find an authentic cantonese restaurant. Plus they serve dim sum ALL DAY, which is great for me! My "mornings" are in the late afternoons, so I'm glad I can still manage to enjoy some dim sum "brunch". ?Service was suuuper friendly, felt super welcomed and at home. The price point is also great. We ordered so much food we were surprised when we got the bill! We thought it would be much more. The menu is a bit limited in terms of Dim Sum, but I guess they got the basics! The item list isnt too bad considering that they serve dim sum all day.I recommend trying the honeycomb beef tripe, the sticky rice lotus wrap, radish cake, and shrimp in rice noodle (update: no longer available ☹). YUM!Minus 1 star because they did have a few fruit flies flying around.UPDATE: They don't have shrimp in rice noodle anymore, which sucks because it's one of my favorites! Triumph Valley in Renton has a much more expansive menu but they only serve dim sum until 3:30.
