Ivar's seems to specialize in providing high fat/cholesterol cuisine. The atmosphere matches it's chowder: bland and short on substance (clams).While the service is nothing more than delivery to the table with no follow up attempts.It's like the Walmart of fast food s for me.The COVID-19 season has destroyed my favorite family owned restaurants and left me with fewer choices.Pretty sure that TIOLI is upon us soon.BTW: TIOLI = take it or leave it! as my mom used to say just before she took your food and fed it to the dog .The moral of the story is:Don't insult the cook!

First time. Loved the white clam chowder! Met the owner and learned so much about the business. Friendly, fast service. Amazing cookies!! Only down for me was the fish tacos needed more fish. Lots of other ingredients that were tasty.
Most of the food was good but, their famous chowder was like eating gritty wallpaper paste. It had to be days old. Very disappointing.
No requirement for individuals to show vaccine cards when dining in. Also allowing people to stand in line without a mask. Allowing crowding around the order area while waiting for orders. This is not a safe place to be. With over 800,000 people dead in the United States, a new variant becoming extremely contagious, this is not a safe place to be. Please make your choice wisely.

Nice clean restaurant very friendly staff. Excellent hot food and quick service. Try their salmon Ceasar salad it was a great size portion and very delicious!

I am a southern black woman! Service was nice and welcoming. Unfortunately fish and chips was not good. I am still happy I came tho. Bland.
Took a while to get our order. They seemed really under staffed. When we got our order it was missing items that we paided for which was very upsetting. Plus the food was cold by the time we got it. Seems they need to hire more people and pay attention to orders better.
