Ok. This place is a blast. Great service, awesome beer and right on the golf course. Had the nachos (no pics unfortunately) and pretzels with friends. It is in the golf complex but not part of it. Similar vibe to their brewery, which is open to the public and close off of SR-167

We love the food here. Everything we've ordered was great and the service is usually pretty good too. Nice selection of local brews, great sandwiches and burgers, nice salads, and a cool comfortable aesthetic. Parking can be a real problem. Golfers take the designated spots and there's occasion when there are no open parking spots at all for the entire gold complex. Ordering carry out is the one time we've run into a problem. It took a very long time to get the food and when we got home we were missing some elements of our order. I'd highly recommend eating here, but eat in!

Great service. Good pub food. Really enjoyed the wings.

Our waitress was off the charts fabulous. We all enjoyed our meals. The Brazilian steak salad was so delicious but I wish they would cut the steak thinner it was kind of chunky. But the taste made up for the chunkiness

Tried coming here for a birthday celebration. All I have to say is if you’re trying to have a good time & the “manager” is there, you’re not going to. Our waiter was awesome and I honestly felt bad that he had to deal with this lady as his manager. She was glaring at us the whole time, shaking her head that we ordered shots (it’s a brewery… you literally go there to drink?) and then turn off the music that we played on touch tunes. So rude & unprofessional of her. Probs won’t ever go again.

First, I'm from out of town and I stopped at Half Lion for a quick meeting so it's not a place I frequent and in fact I didn't even know about Half Lion before I got there (thanks Google Maps). The experience: From the second I walked in the door the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I was waiting for a business associate who was running late so I sat and chatted with the bartender who was great. After my partners showed up, we grabbed a table and the bartender was over to see us as soon as we were situated. He was fantastic with the menu and suggestions so figuring out what we wanted was quick and easy. We never saw the bottom of our glasses and when mine got a little low(er) one time he almost ran to get me a refill. The food: I had the biggest burger on the menu and it was fantastic, absolutely no complaints whatsoever! The wings were great too, we only had the barbecue version so I can't speak to the other flavors but what we had was awesome. All in all I would definitely recommend the spot for a mid-day lunch meeting or to just sit and have a beer. What I would change: The only thing would be to make the pizzas bigger... I would have got a pizza if it wasn't tiny.

Service is fabulous, the food is great and the staff is friendly and attentive. I've been here a lot in recent weeks as part of large groups, as well as by myself and it's just consistently great. The manager, Chris, makes sure that he communicates with you if you're coordinating an event here and the staff does such an amazing job accommodating everyone. I can't recommend Half Lion Public House more highly.

Honestly, the reason's why I am giving this place 3 stars is because the food was really good, and the gentleman playing music this evening was really good as well. However, the service just was not good, at all. We were greeted and told it would bea 10 minute wait, maybe a little more. We ended up waiting about half an hour for a table, and there were several groups that came in after us that literally stood there for 20 minutes and was not greeted and acknowledged. A "we will be right with you" goes a very long way with people, but that did not happen. I do seriously think that if I did not go up to the waitress and say something that we still would have been waiting for a table. It did take us a little while to get our food and drinks, but that part I do understand, it was a busy evening.

The inside is very spacious and has a nice esthetic. There are lots of seating options and even though it is a bar there was a wait to be seated sign at the door. We arrived around 6 pm, and stood at the door for maybe 5 minutes and employees walked by several times and didn't say anything. There was plenty of open seating so me and my friend took a seat at the bar. The bartender seemed annoyed that we seated ourselves and told us it was going to be a few minutes even though we were the only ones sitting at the bar. We had to ask for a food menu. The food was fast and tasted really good however I ordered a burger and it was served on a plate that was much too small and completely fell apart on me. I had to eat with a fork, it tasted great but was a complete mess. Our plates and empty cups sat on the bar for way too long and I had to ask them to take them away and was never asked if we wanted another drink. Maybe they were under staffed but the service could have been much better. I will give it another shot and see if it was just a off night.

great spot! great food, beer selection. and friendly staff!
