Yes great steaks and many other items to choose from. You won't be disappointed.

I paid for 2, 16oz ribeyes and 1, 9 oz ribeye and clearing from the pictures I received 2, 9oz and 1, 16 oz! I guess since I ordered it to go they knew I would open up the tied bags to check! The garlic mashed potatoes were bland and no amount of salt made them better they had no taste whatsoever! However, the ranch dressing for the salad was one of the best I’ve tasted since my Mom passed away! I ordered all the steaks medium and the 16 oz was well my husband was disappointed! We were all a little disappointed as the steaks didn’t taste like anything just meat, no butter or seasoning nothing! If I ever order again to go from here I will definitely check as that was supposed to be good for the amount I paid!

Food and service was good. Go there for a meeting twice a month and have breakfast. Wish it was more consistant as to the food.

I remember eating here a few years ago but what a change. I had a gift card that would have tasted better than the meal. After overcoming the whiny staff in an empty restaurant complaining about being busy, and in the next breath telling co-workers how dead it is. Originally offered soup but when salad #1 came we were told there was no soup "Its not my fault" was the response. Salad #2 came without tomatoes, but of course, this was refuted. Never mind what the picture shows. The meal came with a huff because the plates were too hot, it would have been nice if the food was as warm as she reported the plate to be. The 3 hairs on the steak did nothing to add flavor. But they did managed to make the meal totally bland. How can you suck the flavor out of a potato? Even the au jus tasted like water. Yes, I have normal taste when I eat and no,I did not lose my taste to covid. If there was a manual designed to drive away business they get an A+ tonight. The dinner roll was good. Warm, soft and tasty. The best option for this restaurant to succeed is a bulldozer through the staff's attitude and if that fails, through the front door.

In Feb 2, the service was great but the food was terrible. The salad was sitting in a bowl of water. The burger meat wasn't even seasoned with anything and they served way too many fries.Literally worse than a McDonald's burger and that's pretty hard to do.Almost $100 of bill for nasty food that made me sick with diarrhea and stomach pain. I would ask for my money back but fat chance that'll happen. It's called the Golden Steer because if you steer away from it you're golden.

Great service! They were not very busy but clearly understaffed. Our server had a good sense o humor about it and mad things right for a few minor issues. Will go again if I am looking for a steak dinner.

I ordered chicken fried steak.Got food poisoning.Coffee was good and the waitress was polite, so two stars. I don’t plan on eating here again and I certainly recommend you don’t eat here either.

the best prime rib in the town!! ?

I will start by saying that we used to love going to the Golden Steer. The kids especially loved it! They enjoyed looking at books while they waited for their food and picking out a prize from the treasure chest afterwards. Those little added perks were some of the best parts of the Golden Steer other than the food.Unfortunately today our experience was different. This was the first time that we have been there since it was sold and since the pandemic. The waitress was wonderful but the food was not great ? My husband ordered prime rib and 70% of the meat was fat. We are not ones to complain and since the waitress was so nice, so we didn't. However, the prime rib piece didn't just have fat throughout, it was literally a solid chunk of fat taking up more than half of his piece of meat. My daughter had hot chocolate and she kept saying that it tasted like water, I finally tasted it and sure enough, it was very watered down. I had the chicken fried steak and it seemed different but okay. Other than those things, the food and Bloody Mary's were good.We may try them again, but probably not anytime soon.
