Stopped by on a Tuesday night. Wife got tore up from the floor up. Great beer, and amazingly well kept pool tables. Like for reals yo, the sticks are straight as an arrow
It was my first time there. And the staff were amazingly kind. The drinks were good. The atmosphere was nice.
TL;DR: its a safe option to eat at and a staple of the Kent area.Staff is great, the atmosphere is what is expected - an alligator themed bar. Must be over 21 to eat here since the entire place is a bar. Portions are what you pay for so expect to get full for the money you spend. Only 4 stars since it's not going to wow you with the decor or comfort. Breakfast is available all day too!Pool tables, a few 'competitive' type arcade options like darts and a punching game. High top seating, bar rail, tables and booths so a good variety of places to go. It is open seating so 1 person may have taken a whole booth when you would have needed one for your larger party. So arrive early.
Tori was super cool and great at her job. As a single female from out of town, I was not sure of my surroundings or what to expect. I came in for food to go and she made me feel super welcome and not out of place. She is great at her job and gives the place a welcoming presence! For the short time i was there you could tell the customers love her. Thank you Tori for making me feel right at home!
I always start with service... we sat at the bar and we were lucky enough to be served by Tori. She was F'n awesome!! Very professional, friendly, and attentive. Her food and beer suggestions were spot on. As far as the beer they had a good selection and it was very cold. We went with a local hazy IPA and the glasses were chilled and icy. Very nice!Tori suggested the blackened chicken tortellini with the Caesar salad. We wanted to split the food so she had the salad and entree delivered in separate plates for us. Even though she was very busy she timed the food prep so that she went to the kitchen to get the food as soon as it was ready. She brought us the salads when they were still cold, crisp and crunchy. As soon as we were done with the salad she checked on us and went back to get the entree. The tortellini was good and hot. We were told the blackened chicken is a favorite and we can see why, lots of spices and flavor.Overall we had a great time and loved the experience. Thank you Tori for a great afternoon! We will definitely be back.
The staff here seems top notch. Made sure I was taken care of. Food is very good. Tried the bacon wrapped shrimp, very worth it. Thanks!
We are new to the area and ordered two of the Popp’s fried chicken sandwiches for pick up with side salads….. Unfortunately , it was a step above inedible :( The salad, although very large, was not fresh. The croutons were stale, the cucumbers were stale, and the lettuce was not fresh. The sandwich, at first glance looked good, as though there was a fried chicken cutlet on it, however, this was not the case. The chicken was so over cooked, it actually had a string texture to it. Dry. Old pickle served on the side, old tomatos and wilted, spotty lettuce. The whole situation was just bad. We ended up tossing one of the sandwiches completely. Maybe this was an off night. The staff was friendly, which is why we didn’t bring the food back. The bread was decent too. I’m hoping this was just a fluke, but this probably isn’t the place for take out.

I came in with a few coworkers to play pool, and get some beers. After a few games we got hungry, and ordered food. We had no idea what we were in for. We all got 3 different burgers, and all of them were impeccable. Idk who is in the kitchen, but it’s a MUST EAT there. I will always remember this place, and will always come back when I’m close. Thank you for the good vibes, and great food!
