Last time I had fish and chips and I was surprised the fish was so fresh and plump! Asked them and found out they do their own fish as in cut, bread and fry. This time tried fish burger and same fresh plump meat!!We also had bacon cheeseburger and bacon was so crispy the way we like it. With french fries and vanilla shake, so yumm!!
I ordered the California Burger, fries, and a raspberry shake.The burger was fantastic it reminded me of burgers from my childhood, the lettuce and tomato were crisp, there was just the right amount of avocado, the pattie was juicy with a nice sear, but the bacon stole the show. It was done perfectly with a really nice comple flavor that's hard to find unless you make it your self.I'm not normally a fan of "crinkle fries" but these had a really crispy outside and a good flavor to them, so I'll definitely get them here again.The shake was really well blended and not overly sweet they had a good flavor balance between the fruit and ice-cream.Overall this was the best meal I had all week. I'm going to be back again!
I should have kept driving when I first saw this run-down place. I should have walked out when I saw the prices. I should have returned all their nasty, old stale food. It was all poor quality old freezer burned inedible food and they know it. All the fried items were hard and tough including the fries! I love crinkle cut fries but they were extremely old and stale. The oysters and fries were $23 for 10 and it, was all stale and too oily. I had to peel off the old oily crust, such a waste and a mess. The guy lied to me, he said it was a high quality pizza pocket, the pizza pocket is the same from the cheap corner deli or gas station, I paid $5.50, total rip off. Jalapeño poppers, $7 for 6 and fish sandwich, $13 same freezer burn stale, they just don't care what they serve people. I couldn't serve this to my guests I just ate the cost, $62 including tip and we went somewhere else. Needless to say, I will absolutely never return to this freeze-burned dirty nasty poor quality food place again, highly disappointing.
Was craving a milkshake while in Kent and this place turned up on a search. It’s not what I would consider a drive-in — you go inside to order and they give you a beeper for when the order is ready. I got the mushroom burger, fries, and a root beer shake. The shake and fries were amazing — perfect flavor and consistency on the shake, fries were crispy but soft inside and salted to perfection. I didn’t love the burger, it was fine but nothing special. I’ll definitely be back though, and will try some other things on the menu!
Had a mushroom cheese burger and a bulgogi burger. Both were warm and really tasty. French fries were a little bit dry and nothing special but the yam fried were good!
The burgers are awesome! Had the Half pound California burger and it was juicy and cooked right and would highly recommend. Loved the onion rings and fried zucchini but wished the serving was a little more.This is a drive up, go inside to order, and then wait in your car. There are some picnic tables to sit but most either eat in their car or take it home.
Great burgers and fries, shakes weren't the best though.
When I said no green onions because I’m allergic to them, the lady acknowledged and asked the owner about it, still gave me onions on my sandwich. She was also rude the whole time when my friend and I were asking questions about the menu, we felt traumatized by the experience and we won’t be coming back here again on top of the allergic reactions
I was driving by and ordered some food to bring home to my kiddos. Their french fries are actually nice and crispy. I was surprised by the quality of fish and chips. They were gone within the 5 mins. I got mushroom burger and wish I added some swiss cheese to it. Sauce is good but whenever I get mushroom burger I thought Swiss cheese automatically comes with. Cheese burger was to the point. My 7 year old son had almost 2 cheese burgers (I had 2 bites to try). Will redefinitely return!
Best classic burger joint in Kent! Giant portions, lovingly prepared by prepared by a very sweet people. If you ever grew up with a small town burger shack, then this place is just like that, but even better!
