Son and I got boba teas, it was very clean and the girls working there we very polite and had great customer service. Drinks were very good.
There's a reason this place has poor ratings. Just try somewhere else. customer service, wait time, staff, quality of tea/coffee/boba, all of it 1 star. If you own this place, I'd invest in an overhaul from the ground up, rather than trying to make the place look fancy.
Read the reviews and decided to give this place a shot anyways. When we entered it took awhile to be greeted by the two employees, who were friendly but busy chatting. I ordered the ginger tea. When it was ready the employee punched the straw through the top, which was a little odd and not the most sanitary. There was kind of a gaping hole. First sip was disappointing, second sip was about all I could handle. Wish we could have a better boba/tea place in Covington.
Customer service is an absolute trash. I came in today and stood in front of cashier and smiled but she ignored me. Then, she greeted another group of people who just arrive. I'm talking about the lady with glasses. She was with a white girl. Then she greeted 2 more group of people and took their order before mine. I was like invisible to her for some reason. Looks like she needs a better pair of glasses. I would love to give this place a lesser than 1 star if possible.
This place is one of a kind! It's the only bubble tea place that charges extra for card transactions under $10 so make sure you're thirsty. They are often out of oolong tea when I'm there
They charged me extra and the drink (jasmine milk tea) taste so bad. From any other place I always get jasmine milk tea and it’s my favorite but from this place it tastes so bad. Never Coming back here. Convington ding tea is way better.
If you use debit or credit card in this place, and spend less than $10, you will be surcharge $0.35. Most people would not spend over $10 on a drink and there was no surcharges in other tea places. I ordered a drink from the menu on their reception table, which was $4.75, then I was charged for $5.75 plus 0.35 surcharge. Then they told me that was an old menu, but they didn’t indicate on that menu that the price has changed. Will never come back!
This place is going downhill. There was a long line of customers and only the owner was taking the order and making the drinks. There was also a long line of customers waiting to get their drinks. Terrible experience all around. Owner doesn’t know anything about providing good customer service, doesn’t even try to strike a conversation, doesn’t smile, just happy to take the money and make people wait for their orders. Waited like a half hour to get two drinks…
My regular order at any boba place is a taro slush with tapioca boba, which I was excited to try here because it’s a cute place and the guy who helped was nice. But when I got my drink I got really disappointed by the consistency, which felt like I was chewing on plain chunks of ice instead of drinking a taro smoothie. My partner’s passion slush turned out fine and had a good consistency so I don’t know what went wrong with mine :/
Ordered here before and it was fine. Nothing special. Decided to try it again so I came in with my family to order drinks and they refused to split a drink into two separate cups (for kids). And told me that medium size is only for Boba drinks. *eye roll*. Uh, ok. So instead we took our business up the hill to Bobalust which is AMAZING! It’s our go-to spot and they’re much more accommodating.
