Great family owned restaurant. Great sushi, amazing Kimchi and just great all around. I think this will be my new go to Sushi place.
I used to go here often but had not been since pre Covid. I went last night with a friend. When we walked in the place was empty. It was only 7pm. The host/server told us we could sit anywhere we want as it was empty. We sat down and server brought us two menus with a small piece of scratch paper and told us to write our order on the paper. I've never been to a place where they ask you to do this but we did. We ordered the chicken teriyaki Bento box and chicken katsu Bento box. They were out of chicken teriyaki so we got two katsu boxes. We never got asked if we wanted something to drink. We had to walk up to register and ask for water. When our order came it was missing the streamed rice. When we asked about it we were told that they would charge us for it. We had to point out that it is listed on the menu with the box. The server said nothing to ud and went back to the kitchen. He returned later with the rice. Worst customer service ever. Will never go back.
Not only did they not give us over half the order, but the YakiSoba tastes like it was reheated from last week's left overs. The bubble teas have no taste.. all around, terrible experience.
I went to this restaurant for the first time today and did not enjoy myself at all. Everything was salty. The miso soup, salty. Chicken teriyaki, salty. Raw sushi, not fresh. I don't know the situation these people that served me are in but I think they should work on their food service before serving a paying customer like me.
This the worst place to order from we ordered poke and got iceberg lettuce mix with salmon on top this is unbelievable for 17$!!! Everything we ordered was 16 to 17 and the portion were small on top of it.You can completely see they don’t know what they are doing at this place stay away don’t order
Greeted by a little old lady that did not speak English. She went to call someone who did and he gestured to a booth and promptly asked what I would like to drink. I ordered the Chirashi bowl and spicy tuna hand rolls, hot tea. As I waited I noticed they had a video playing of Superman and a booth of paperwork. IMO you know the food is authentic when you see a kid doing HW utilizing one of the seats. ?. The place was empty but I did show up for a super late lunch. The food looked appetizing. They have faintly seasoned rice. Not bad. The portions and quality of fish was surprising for a strip mall restaurant. I ordered the Tamago nigiri to go for my kiddo. It was a nice atmosphere, clean, laid back. They had sake and Sapporo on the menu. Some Korean and Chinese food available also. I will bring my family next time because it’s a small mom and pop place, the owners are nice and the food was good. A quaint secret spot for lunch or dinner.
Called to order food for the first time called for pick up order. Asked him to hold on while I looked at the menu to see if I wanted more food. I was told they are too busy to wait for me to figure out what I wanted. Didn’t even want my food. Sushi may be good but once your rude I no longer want your food
Always great rolls, usually I order for delivery this time I decided to do pickup. The inside is nice and cozy and the owner isa very nice man.
Decent Hamachi roll. Nothing to write home about. To Go service was good.
Even though the food was good, the couple was pretty unprofessional. The lady was doing all her paperwork and took over an entire booth playing a video loudly. The man was laying down with his shoes off. I asked for a bento box and the chef wasn't in.. It was 4pm, why weren't they in? So I got two rolls but the $40 price doesn't match the taste. Not worth it in my opinion.
