So, what's there to say about Asadero Prime? Well, who would have thought that you would find, IMHO, one of the best steak houses in Puget Sound here in Kent in this little area?!?! Well I had their 14oz Vacio Wagyu served on a sizzling hot stone plate. WOW!!! This is one of the best restaurant steaks I've ever had! It was nice, thick and tasty. We had their guacamole appetizer and I had some of the guac and salsa on my steak, even better! If you want a great steak dinner then Asadero Prime in Kent is a well worth the time and money.
What an amazing find! To be honest, if I had read up I probably wouldn’t have chosen to come here, only because I wasn’t in the mood (or dressed) for a nice dining experience. When this place popped up on a “Mexican food near me” search, it was the closest spot with great star ratings that came up.The guacamole was the BEST guacamole I’ve ever had (whoever thought to put baguettes on the platter instead of just tortillas was genius.) We also has the Buenos Aires sandwich which was amazing also. Then came our steak. Served on a hot stone so it continues simmering, the quality is apparent, as is the method of cooking. It was one of the richest, juiciest, most tender steaks I’ve ever had. The chimichurri sauce that comes with it accentuates every flavor and it is decadent. On top of the fantastic food, the service was wonderful. My hats off to the chef, my thanks to our sweet waitress, and my appreciation to the love that goes into this restaurant.
There wasn't a nice welcoming feel to the place. It also didn't help when the waitress was less then enthusiastic about being there. The appetizers lacked flavor, very disappointing when I know I make it tastier then a nice restaurant. The wagyu sandwich was ok. My wifes wagyu burrito tasted better then my sandwich. I don't see myself returning to this place. Total let down.
We tried this restaurant for the first time right before the pandemic hit, and are so glad they made it through! We recently returned both at the end of March and beginning of April, and left satisfied and delighted each time. We feel like we are going to a family member's house when we visit. The smell of roasting meat, sounds of conversations, and a familiar face welcoming you in and taking care of you. It is a unique experience, specifically if you order meat that finishes on a hot stone. If you enjoy beef I highly recommend this location for dinner with a client, a date night, or just a casual hang with friends.
We love this local spot. Good food and great service. There's a small parking lot up front and a larger one on the side. Recommend making a reservation in advance as it can get very busy. They're known for their meats bit everything we've tried on their menu has been wonderful. We love getting the guacamole. (When we asked they brought us more chips bc they give you a bunch of guac). They also have outdoor seating with heaters but depending on the weather it can be a bit cold. I recommend trying to get a table inside. They also have a community table where you may end up seating next to strangers but it's worth it for the food.
Went here for the first time today! Very very impressed. Ordered the tacos - can't remember what ones exactly but they were in the middle... The meat was tender and cooked perfectly,I can't wait to bring my fiancé here- I know he is gonna love it. For dessert I got the corn bread which was delicious but was almost $9.... Service was attentive and not overbearing. Second time there I got a Carne Asada. It was my first time having it so I dont know how it is compared to other restaurants - it was very tasty and full of flavor but it had a lot of crewy parts so I ended up leaving a lot on my plate. I was not too impressed with the cactus thing. We ended up having rice on the side and it was amazing with the red hot sauce!
It's a bit dark and a little loud, but that Wagyu Burrito? *Chef's kiss*Very worth the trip. Food was delicious, toppings to accentuate your meal are provided, check-in was quick (Wednesday evening), and outdoor seating was available. Will definitely go back, most likely with others in tow.
Excellent food and drinks at the OG location in Kent. Plenty of parking on the side street. Tables not too close together which is better for Covid safety.
Hands down the best Carne Asada in the Pacific Northwest. Service was amazing food was so delicious.
We had a great experience at this local Mexican steakhouse. The atmosphere/ ambience was spectacular, you can smell the smokiness or the grill even before you enter. The staff was very nice and provided great service. Food was delicious there and it was equally delicious even when we took it back home. Overall we had a lovely dinner date. Would come back and recommend to our friends and family.
