Food is all pre-made and reheated to go. The portions are good and food was flavorful. The laulau was very fatty like other reviews have noted, so only get it if that's what you like. The food was good and satisfied my appetite.
Super generous portions large enough for a construction worker, hard working electricians or lumberjack men who burn up 3000 to 4500 calories per day. I had much left over to carry home. The attached photo shows how much was left after I was satiated. I had the shrimp and pulled pork and macaroni salad and two rice ? balls. Too much for this old man but maybe perfect portions for you.
My go to Hawaiian food when I don't want to make it myself. There is one guy working behind the counter but don't let that stop you from coming to Hawaii on da mainland, great chill atmosphere and some good tunes also. Mahalo for the wonderful tasting food ??
Such great food for prices that look like they haven’t changed in years! The mac salad, loco moco, and spam musubi were all on point! The owner was such a cool dude, enthusiastic about his food and happy to see us. 100% recommend to fix that Hawaiian craving!
Had a co worker puck up a Spam and egg sandwich, bun was hard and spam were hard, might as well had a hockey puck. Sauce dried on bun like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Tony knowledge they don't use headlamps that's just what it looked like. Was completely unbeatable. Didn't even take one bite of it.
The price for portions is great & the food is good!! Plus, they have home made mochi buns available right next to the register (plus some amazingly priced sandwiches at the moment). Will be here alot!

I lived on Oahu for 9 years and this place impressed me. Huge portions at a great price and the food tasted amazing!
The food here is gross, fatty, acidic.My wife got food poising from the chicken after we ate, she literally through up for days we even wondered if it was Ecoli like some of the other reviews we've seen after we ate here. I called and questioned the food quality and the man on the phone claiming to be the owner yelled ans screamed at me like a child it was outrageously ridicules.
This place is a disgrace to Hawaiian food! I got the laulau combo plate and my laulau had nothing but fat, no pork at all! Being from Hawaii I know what I’m talking about and I would never serve this to my worst enemy. Pilau!
