Favorite Mexican restaurant in tri cities!!! So cute inside and their food never disappoints. Me and my husband come here all the time!! All the servers are really nice too!
They expanded and made big improvements here. This is a great place to order food through Uber Eats. They always have food ready to go the people are friendly and nice. Great menu choices.
We went to Tometillo for a change in our routine. The waitress was friendly. The has both traditional Mexican dishes and some unique ones. The atmosphere was okay...not great. It was a little chilly inside.
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful experience! We took a chance on Tomatillo, being out of towners looking for a good lunch and we struck it rich! For starters, the salsa that came with the chips was so good we called for seconds and had to restrain ourselves from filling up on chips before our meals arrived. It was rich, smokey, full of gorgeous chiles and flavorful without blowing you away with too much heat. It left a pleasant hum to the mouth and we could still taste our food. So good! Then came our meals. My husband's fish tacos were wonderful! Great flavor, a beautiful balance of acid and the crunchy batter fried fish, fresh pico de gallo, shredded cabbage... perfect. My son and I had steak fajitas. The flavor was great, green bell peppers and onions cooked to perfection, plus a beautiful guacamole, rice and beans. The steak was a bit tough but the flavor was good. My daughter and other son both had the enchilada combination. Four enchiladas, all different, with four different sauces. Good gracious! Those sauces were amazing, especially the mole! Wow!! We all enjoyed horchata for our drinks, it too was perfect. I'm so glad we dropped in and decided to try something new, we'll be back someday I'm sure!
This is the best tiny food in Kennewick. This is like a very good food cart but serving in a restaurant setting with restaurant prices. We had dinner there and the food has an above average flavor, but is in small helpings. They're seeking the niche market of trendy and that must mean child portions. You can order ala carte which I like, and they only charged me $3.75 for a well flavored enchilada, but it was small and even though I ordered it "wet" it came with just a small amount of sauce typical of inexpensive food carts. They serve only street tacos and I got one for $3.50. Also, the salsa they serve with the chips is exceptionally good.My husband ordered the carnitas plate for $16.50 and got 4 small tortillas, a small bowl of rice and beans, and pico de gallo so he could make tacos. The meat included a big blob of inedible fatty pork which made up about 30% of the meat on his plate, which was bothersome, because for that price and the small helping sizes, I do expect everything on the plate to be edible. We both like crispy-on-the-outside carnitas and this carnitas was a bit tough so the hubby didn't like it much, but from my sample, I though it had a wonderful flavor.In conclusion, wait staff were great, food was tasty, but portions are very small and prices can be high for what you get. I found myself eating chips AFTER my meal since there was so little of it...
Grilled chicken salad is the BEST salad on the menu, really nice hidden spot, great food, looks amazing once you walk in and the front receptionist is really nice! Highly recommend this place it is very underrated ??
Best Mexican food in Tricities.Very clean place with good service with a full bar.Reasonable priced with good tasting food.
