The clam chowder was the best I have ever had. Crab did was amazing. It was a great find. The service was on point. I will definitely bee going back again.
The Turkey club was very good. Fry's are done very well and you get a good amount of them. The decor is great and the view of the river is calming.
We ate here when we stayed at the inn on a road trip. It’s a fun location but the service was really slow. We arrived at 7:30 pm and ordered by 7:40, but didn’t get our food until about 8:45 pm. The restaurant is small and was less than a quarter full but only had one waitress working and she was very overworked. When our food came it was cold even though the plates were piping hot, but everything tasted like it would’ve been excellent if it had been served fresh. I had the beer-battered cod and it was crisp and flavorful.
The waitress was super cool. Lots of fun. I think her name was Daylene. Food was pretty good. Great drinks. Nice to see they are busy again.
Although the food was ok we are furious that the restaurant charged us 18% tip without our consent and also left a space on the bill for us to add a tip ! We had added 15% tip so in fact the bill now had 18% plus our decision to add 15%! The bill should have indicated the 18% had been added before total for us to sign! This is unacceptable! We will be contacting the restaurant to have this amended .
We were disappointed in our stay for a few reasons. Upon registration we inquired why wifi wasn’t working Desk said they were working on it but in fact had not and in fact told us they were busy .Internet on some floors does not work at all.We asked to change to another room but we were told there were non- again when we checked online rooms were available. Noise above us was a show that went on till after 10 pm and sounded like it was next door. Bathroom floor had not been cleaned - there were body hairs on the bathroom floor (different hair colour than ours!) Room is very tired and worn.Restaurant upstairs double charged gratuity without our permission(18% + 15%).Only noticed once home on our banking as it didn’t even appear on receipt!)
The food and service were excellent! The view was amazing and the portions and prices were great!
We came here because of good reviews and they did not disappoint. Older hotel but immaculate rooms! View from 3rd floor of Columbia awesome. Received a luggage tag and a free buffet breakfast that was very good. Hospitality of their staff was amazing and would rival any 5 star hotel. We are so pleased that we found this wonderful place and will definitely stay again!
Always nice to sit along river have peaceful lunch/dinner. Food is good/peeps are nice.Whole ombiance is relaxing. If it's raing just a plus. My opinion..have a good one
Love this place, the view is gorgeous. It is the type of place you can depend on for all varieties of cocktails and regardless of the company you keep or even the circumstances of going the atmosphere is wonderfully perfect. Want a quiet intimate dinner and drinks with your special someone then you have arrived. Need to decompress and not so sure about going into a bar by yourself, this is the bar for you and you will meet new peeps and in no time forget those pesky worries. Wanna go out with friends and party it up get a little rowdy, skip bar hopping and go straight to fun with your posse, well then get on it! The food is divine, my fave is the stuffed halibut. Did I mention the beyond cool bartender and cocktail waitresses? Oops, very friendly and always smiling you won't be sitting empty not here. Added bonus it is also a reputable hotel so why not make a night of it get up in the morning to breakfast and a nice walk along the shore. I will be adding pics soon folks, so stay tuned and in the meantime get yourselves down to the Crow's Nest and order yourself a watermelon mojito on the double.
