First time in was today and had lunch with my daughte, everything was delish. We had three sushi rolls and the egg roll appetizer...and the all of them were great. The fresh fish and hot egg rolls hit the spot.The service was quick friendly and not to intrusive.We will be returning soon.
Food was amazing as always, unfortunately the service was not. Waited 20-25 minutes before I had to get the servers attention because she was about to walk away again. Tables around us got seated after us and had food served before we ever ordered. After ordering we didn’t see or server at our table until food was served where she forgot to put my sons order in and had to rush to get it made. After that we didn’t see her again at our table, not to get refills, not to check on us, not to even bring us a check. Tables on either side seemed to have fine service but to her we must have been invisible.It’s a shame such terrible service ruined the meal.
I’m confused as to how they have high reviews? I ordered 4 rolls and spring rolls to go. The spring rolls were black and over fried. The avocado in the sushi rolls was super dark all the way through and clearly bad. The end pieces of the rolls had no sushi in them except the tail of the shrimp (with no shrimp on it). $60 for this? No thank you.

They put they Ya in Sushi Ya for me! The presentation alone was beautiful, delicious food even for vegetarians or vegans and price and service was on point. My new go to sushi place!

Dining was nice and casual, service was friendly and attentive. But the best aspect of Sushi Ya is their food. Their miso soup has a rich flavor with some nice depth, their gyoza is crispy in the outside and wonderfully cooked on the inside. I loved their spicy Korean pork belly bites. They had a great heat and the fresh, crisp cabbage served with it was a great contrast in flavor and texture. My sister had their ninja roll and she said it was delicious. We finished our meal with some light, sweet fried sesame balls which were amazing. It was fried a perfect golden, was light to the bite and taste, the bean paste in the center was sweet and scrumptious, and the sesame was perfect and did not overwhelm the bean paste flavor. Looking forward to going back in the future!
I ordered the Godzilla roll and it was wonderful ! It was so fresh and I loved the different textures in there , tempura shrimp. Beautiful presentation ! The coconut shrimp was also delicious .
