Super nice place, was actually very busy but that is how it goes the food is so good. Staff is nice and the food is better. Ordered to go as well and food is ready when it's supposed to be. The to go set up is nice, food was still good by the time we got home and ate it. Support this wonderful restaurant

hands down my favorite sushi spot in the tri cities. the sweet potato roll and the veggie crunch are my go-to rolls, and the agedashi tofu is always good.

Good service ok nigiri

I had heard of this restaurant for many, many years before I ultimately settled on trying it on Thursday August 26th. Like I have said in past review specifically of sushi restaurants, I have been opening my palate.Immediately upon entering I could appreciate the cleanliness and how neat the tables were setup. Tables for two, four and giant tables. Keep in mind however this restaurant is not huge. It is rather pretty small. It was sufficient enough but due to COVID some tables weren't available. Now, onto the menu. I was starving so I had to get some big rolls. I knew the Tiger Roll had to be tested for quality and one specialty roll. It took me a while but I settled onto the Godzilla Roll. I was definitely a little nervous on the specialty roll but sushi chefs excel not only in presentation but also in making sure the customer itself is satisfied.I ordered no imitation crab on both my rolls. Other than that I kept everything else the same. The first batch of sushi came with the crab but the waitress noticed as she walked to my table. I appreciate her attention to that detail and saved me from needing a emergency room visit. When the sushi came through without the crab, I was astonished. That Godzilla Roll deserves every bit of its name; that tempura was sticking out on the first piece like Godzilla's back. Drizzled with beautiful colored sauces and slices aligned, stacked so neatly onto the plate. This roll gets a 10 in presentation, taste, delicacy and every darn element. A tad spicy but I did enjoy that.So I tried the Tiger Roll and it was not much spefial. Definetely a 8.5 as it is not as fancy as other tiger rolls but it didn't dissapoint. Not much ontop gave it that basic most people would enjoy. I would've loved avocado and shrimp ontop but hey, it's not my recipe. I appreciate how you guys kept it basic. Now, I can finish two rolls of sushi most of the time but this was an exception. That Godzilla roll had me on the edge all the time as I tried to finish the last 4 pieces. I decided to take them home. The crunch of that entire roll was soooo tasty and for some reason the avocado did not taste funny after being fried, it kept its freshness. That detail made me so impressed, a feat not achieved by every sushi shop.At last, their wasabi consistency is very soft and I had never seen that before. Usually wasabi is a bit flaky but not Mori's and I enjoyed that. I could be far more precise in adding wasabi and not killing my tongue.I will be back, I promise. I enjoyed the Godzilla roll far too much.

Good food, but terrible service. After a ridiculous wait, the waitress admitted she had forgotten to put in our order. No apology and she didn't expedite our order so it took more than an hour to get edamame and more than 90 minutes to get our full order. The table next to us, which arrived after we ordered, got their food before us.

Waited 35 minutes for 3 sushi rolls, they were not that busy. Sushi rolls were not well constructed and fell apart at the slightest touch, chicken was dry and overcooked. I also received a clearly unwashed fork seeing has how it had left over food crusted onto it. Overall not a good experience, mediocre food at best. If you want authentic delicious sushi go to aki sushi.

New guy delivered some of our order to the next table, but our waitress made it right. Sushi was delicious, and we love the miso soup here. Four stars due to mix-up, but otherwise great.

All three of us got food poisoning after eating from here. We got some food for take out, chicken katsu, Seattle roll and dragon roll. The dragon roll was supposed to have eel but it was filled with cucumber and barely had any eel. And both the rolls tasted stale and not fresh at all. We eat a lot of sushi and this is by far the worst ever. Smallest portion too. About 2 hours later, me and my boyfriend and our 3 year old son all had bad stomach cramps and diarrhea within the same time frame. We didn’t have any food aside from homemade pancakes prior to that. Needless to say it was the food there. Could have trusted my gut feeling and skipped the food. To add on top of that. The service was very sub par as well. I ordered over the phone and when I got there and said my name. Without even looking at me the cashier just said a number. I was like what was that? She said the number again. Not a single greeting, not a full sentence like “that would be 37 dollars” or anything like that. And I was one of the 2 customers there. Not like they’re busy, which I can understand. Anyways. I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I’m compelled to do it to save other people some time and from potential misery.

Sushi Mori used to be such a wonderful place when Bare and Jason used to own it. It has severely gone down hill since the new owner has taken over. The food went from wonderfully delicious to sub-par, and that's after it takes about 30-45 minutes to get out to you. The waitstaff consisting of Brittany, Shelby, and Hannah all do their jobs wonderfully and treat every customer like family, so thats a huge bonus. But since Sushi Mori has gone under new management, its hard seeing the waitresses scramble around as the kitchen and the new owner are constantly making mistakes. So if you're looking for a quick dine in, don't come here but if you're looking for a place where the servers treat you wonderfully then definitely come here. I over heard the owner basically laughing at the servers over a mistake she had made. Definitely unprofessional.

The food is always so good! And the beautiful girl with the gorgeous eyes is always so so sweet, she even recommended me a great sci-fi book. Only thing is that’s it’s so hot in there, I felt so bad for the workers. I couldn’t eat my food in there and had to box it up to go. Please turn up the AC!
