It's sad to say that they have messed up somthing as simple as tempura! Not sure what they used, but it was a mixture of fried chicken batter and really old oil. Their miso soup is just about as plain as can be, it's just a dash of miso paste in dashi broth. Otherwise, their chicken teriyaki is the standard quality you would find anywhere in Washington. If you just stick with the chicken, you should be happy. Otherwise, it's worse than Midwestern Japanese.
This place is amazing!!! Super great service, very pleased! We came in and were immediately seated. Lovely, lovely people who work here! Haven’t had to wait more than 2 minutes tops. We got the crazy roll, the rainbow roll, and spicy tuna roll. The crazy roll is absolutely fire. Deep fried goodness with sushi, best of both worlds, 10/10 recommend. I just can’t recommend this place enough! Usually don’t post a review, but I had to because this place left us feeling so good we had to.
I had been really hungry for terrakki in Seattle there everywhere, but only a few places I've found in Tri Cities. Osaka is one of those places, really good terrakki, nice cuts of chicken, soy sauce, with just a kiss of sweet and just a subtle taste of ginger, not drowning in the sauce. So good!! ? The rice was perfectly cooked, not overly sticky, or to dry, which really added to the mouth feel ? My terrakki came with a generous portion of chicken, two scoops of rice and a large salad, that had a really good tasting dressing that went perfect with the terrakki!! Our waitress was really great!! The restaurant was very clean, and the lighting made dinner a very nice experience!! ? ?
I am a door dash driver and this is some of the worst service I have ever received I sat at the restaurant for over 20 and the place was dead no one there and my food took 20 mins to be ready also the women at the front desk is one of the rudiest people I have ever spoken too. If you door dash stay away from this restaurant.
1/27/22 : husband and I wanted to try something new for date night and I ordered sweet n sour chicken and he had the Mongolian beef/ sweet n sour chicken, the food came out just 4 mins after we had ordered almost as if we were at a fast food restaurant. Worst part was when we did get our order It had to have been microwaved because some parts were piping hot and other parts were ice cold as if they didn’t nuke it long enough. The young waitress was friendly and that’s why I didn’t give them a 1 star rating. We definitely expected a lot better quality then what we got. Definitely won’t be going back.
Amazing sushi and very kind and attentive service! Highly recommend! Brad and Lia provided the most wonderful food and atmosphere. The plating was gorgeous and the food was delicious!
We ordered lunch for our work group on-line and it said "special request" so I put in combo meal substitute Teriyaki beef in place of broccoli beef plus I asked for a container of spicy mayo. We did not get the Teriyaki beef, the spicy mayo, soy sauce, chop sticks, napkins or forks. When I called about it I was told my special request wasn't on there and she didn't care about the condiments/utensils that were missing. I don't know what has happened to taking care of your customers but this is sad.
The service was EXCEPTIONAL! Friendly, quick, accurate, delicious and a wonderful atmosphere. You get what you pay for and more than what you might expect. This place is a must for any sushi lover visiting the area. ENJOY!
Great selection of food, and everything we got was pretty good. Atmosphere was a little odd, the decor and style just felt unusual. Service was good.
Food is decent. Customer service sucked. Went in to go get my order, lady ignored me til someone else came to help. Flaming js is 100% better when it comes to service and quality of food
