Great Beer, Good Food, Cool LocationWe really enjoy this place and have been here many times. The Service is good and the people are friendly and knowledgeable about the Brew and the food. Being located on Clover Island makes it a fun place to kick back and relax.I ordered a Mug of Red and the Prime Rib Dip. The beer came promptly but the food took a little bit to get to me. They were also pretty full at the time as it was during the lunch rush. When my sandwich did come it was phenomenal! They packed that thing with meat! And the au jus was nice and hot and full of flavor. I can tell they really took pride in the dish. Certainly a good reason to come back.If you have never been here, Check them out!
Great location and menu. Service is either excellent or bad, no in-between. I suspect they’re short staffed like lots of places these days, but training staff to at least greet guests when they enter and give them a heads up that it’ll be a few minutes before you’ll be seated could go a long way toward making a good impression. Our boat is mooted at the marina so we’ll continue to patronize unless things get really bad.I wish they served the jalapeño tots at this location!
Stopped in here on a whim as we were near by clover Island and decided to stop here for supper. Very relaxed environment inside and although it was overcast outside it was beautiful weather to eat at the ample outside tables if a person chose to. This night we decided to eat inside as it was a bit humid for my fiancée. The only issue we had was having to wait 7-10 minutes to be seated. This night I went with the Bomsss Burger with the beer battered fries and my fiancée went with the Au Jus Burger with the beer battered onion rings. My burger was hot and juicy the fries were okay but not very many came with the burger. Most places usually give a decent amount of fries with the meal as potatoes are a cheap filler. My fiancée's Au Jus Burger was good and came with a decent amount of Au Jus sauce. I do give them credit on the fact that the sauce was not watered down at all like you find in a lot of places nowadays. The onion rings were very good as well. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we may go back again some day.
I try the rubien sandwiches every were I go, "I've had alot" an this is the 2nd best I've ever had, the clam bowl is very tasty an you won't be disappointed with the amount, the sausage tray is very tasty along with the chicken on flat bread , I highly doubt y'all will be disappointed, right along with the samplers of beer, and sadly I didn't get our severs name but she rocked. Will definitely be back...
We've been here before and the place was jumping with activity. We return 6 months later and the staff all but disappeared! The bartender took our order and the manager delivered our meal. The service was excellent but strange to have no servers. The beers were great and our salads and fries were wonderful. This a great stop for IPA lovers. We finished around 5PM and a server appeared. Pandemic, economy, & other mystery contributors to blame for sure. This remainsd a very nice stop and we'll return in another 6 months!
Stopped to try the beer. It was delicious and we had 3 Appetizers they were delicious! Ahi tuna, nachos, and pretzel sticks! They are family friendly and the staff is very friendly with great service
You can tell what this place wants to be…it just doesn’t quite make it. We went for lunch and sat outside with our dog (dogs are allowed on the patio). The patio was nice although the view wasn’t quite riverfront more like across a parking lot and street from the river. It was colder than one might expect as well given the temperature that day so a light jacket might be a good idea. The beer was ok. I had a tangerine wheat but most of the citrus flavor it got was from the orange slice in the drink. I got the club sandwich which was disappointing. The sandwich was three slices of deli meat with bacon I am guessing was precooked. My wife has the mushroom burger and it was a pretty normal burger. For the price, it did not feel like it was worth and the location wasn’t quite good enough to make it feel like I was paying for an experience.
While this location is more upscale than their original pub located downtown, the food isn't any better. Very expensive for what you get. The Chicken wrap was very tough to eat as the chicken & bacon was overcooked and the tortilla used seemed old. Nachos are served in a bowl not a platter or plate so you get some cheese on top but not much on the bottom chips. Their fries were good. Their cocktails are a weak pour...very weak. Beer was good tho and our server was excellent!! They took their white chicken pizza off the menu...boo!! ?
Nice place. Friendly and very helpful staff. Had the pretzel bites with spicy beer cheese; French Dip with cheese; Cowboy burger (no cheese) with fries. All tasted great and looked great.Beer flight was nice to be able to try several of the beers and all 4 tasted great.Highly recommend this fun and tasty hidden gem !
Great atmosphere for lunch! Great location on Clover Island with an ocean-like scenery, clean, the waitress’ are amazing and friendly, and the food was outstanding! I enjoyed my spicy crab cake sliders. I would highly recommend this place!
