We came for a birthday dinner. and loved it. The early dinner was delicious.
Called the restaurant at 6:00 on a Friday night asking if they had room in the dining room for a party of four. They made arrangements to accommodate us at 7:00.We arrived a little early and were seated right away. We cannot give them enough praise for the entire dinner experience.A very friendly and accommodating greeting and a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Delicious food and drinks!Well be back.
Passing through the area, and our group was in the mood for some great food, views and a drink or two.Called the restaurant, found out reservations were needed for dining area. my group was easily accommodated to a time within Cedars’ early bird special (steak dinner $20 and salmon dinner for $25). The wine list was extensive and the Riesling was delicious! Our server, Marcus was friendly and exceptional. All food items were cooked and served to perfection. Will definitely make it a point to return again, as our travels bring us through the tri city area.
Always a treat to visit Cedars. So glad they made it through the trials of the pandemic. Great staff that are always smiling. Fantastic menu that is hard to choose from because there are so many wonderful options.
I was expecting diner type food, but got pub type food. Much to my surprise, the food was good, but not healthy. They ran out of some of the menu items, which limited our selection. It took a long time for our food to arrive. They did not expect so many people. I did not realize that they took reservations, but they let us in anyway. On the upside, we sat near the fireplace. It was our anniversary, but nothing special was offered.
Have been here many times before the new ownership and read all the reviews saying how great everything was since the new acquisition. Based on the reviews we decided on Cedars to treat our out-of-town guests. Sadly, we were really disappointed. To start, when we arrived, we asked to go into the bar as our table wasn't ready. The hostess told us that we could not go into the bar as it was full even though I could clearly see empty tables. When I mentioned this to her she wouldn't reply to me and just gave me a very snotty look. When we were finally seated, we waited 10 minutes to get water and had to ask the busser to send our waitress. When she finally arrived we ordered starters and our dinner simultaneously. The starters came quickly but then we waited an hour for our dinner. During that time our waitress never showed her face to check in. My husband finally got up to see where she was. Just as he got up our food finally arrived. My husband's $50 steak was luke warm, his baked potato actually cold, and all of the food for us and our guests had clearly been sitting under the warmer for some time. I think it may have been good if not for that. And as an aside, the place really wasn't busy. To bring guests to a nice restaurant and drop over $400 we truly expected more. This won't be our choice moving forward.
Was excited to meet friends at what we considered the best place to get a steak in the Tri Cities. Upon arrival the hostess was rude. After being seated and ordering we waited over 45 minutes for our food. The server never came to check on us. I had to go looking for her and finally stopped another server to see it she could find our server. The second girl went and got our food which had great flavor but had definitely cooled off from sitting. The owner called my wife after she left a review and basically told her that she was just looking for a free meal and our business wasn't important to them. We won't be returning.
First time here and it was worth every penny! The service was EXCEPTIONAL as well as the food. Allie and Jose were amazing and such a delight. We will be back here several more times!
6:30 p.m. I called ahead to ask if they had an available table for one my day off from work. He said, really friendly btw, to "just come in and we'll figure something out", but I should've listened to my gut feeling about eating somewhere else that night...so I arrived there at 7:00 p.m. The hostess let's me choose my singles table, and I'm happy to be out like usual. So I get my order taken, and served by two different waitstaff, and am having a blast recording, taking photos, and eating. I communicate to both waiters that I'll take leftovers to-go, and move to the bar, which they okayed. I pay for my meal (Little over 43 dollars), and sit down. The bartender's tone was curt, and when politely I turned away the cocktails I ordered to settle for one beer, he wouldn't serve me anything...just said I was "cut off" after having nothing I liked (soon as he said that, he served two other gals across from me a new order). For the record I did say I like my drinks really sweet, he didn't ask besides "Rocks(iced) or straight" for my preferences, and when I insisted tipping him in the amount for the drink he took off without asking he acted inconvienced saying "I already closed the tab". I did try to tell my experience to my previous waitress, and first thing out of her mouth was "You tried to tip him, but not ME?" I was shocked because I never had a waiter say that...nor expect it after I paid for appetizers, drinks, and main. Then they diverted the conversation to explaining their different tipping system, instead of the common "pool it in and split". I left feeling upset, uncomfortable, and threw away my leftovers because it wasn't worth to eat their food. So for first impressions, they did a one star job.
they always treat us so well. the owners are amazing and so is the staff. Ryan is the best worker there. Thank you for reaching out to me Ryan and letting me know you guys have my coat . Robert and I had a great last minute time there for Valentines Day
