I had a coworker buy me a rebel from here today and the first few sips were fine until I felt something in my throat, at first I thought maybe I swallowed a chunk of ice but when I looked at my drink in the light I noticed little things floating in it and a hair, I freaked out thinking it was glass shards, I scooped one out and they look like little plastic shavings. NEVER coming here again, it's right down the road from my work so I constantly go for my lunch breaks but never again!
I had to deliver a doordash order from this black rock and one of the two guys and asks the name for my order and he tells me “oh it’s not here” and then goes “I’m just messing with you.” I don’t laugh along bc I don’t find it funny because I’m just trying to deliver an order and it was mostly annoying. BUT I really didn’t appreciate it when he said in such a condescending tone “here you go sunshine.”
My new favorite is to go to Black Rock Coffee shop.

Changing my past review to reflect my current experience.Since Black Rock took over drinks gave been very inconsistent. Receiving the wrong drink sizes and flavors on at least one of the drinks we get on a daily basis. I was hoping this was just growing pains, but after several weeks, I've given up hope.
Love black Rock coffee ❤️ loved roasters too, but always loved getting black Rock in Portland

Went the other day and was in line for literally 30 minutes and was late to work! Also they changed their name and I personally did not like the new coffee beans they are using… I try and go to the ones that are not “Black Rock” while I still can.
I get a lot of roasters but today I went there and whatever young man was doing the drive through window around 12:30 gave excellent service. Most service workers have generic, shallow conversation (which is perfectly polite and I have no complaints it’s just not very interesting) but he asked what superpower I would want and was very kind and engaging. I forgot to ask his name, so but I really appreciated the nice twist in time-filler questions!
The drinks were yummy but the price for 3 drinks, I thought, was over the top
