I stopped in for lunch and had the Reuben sandwich and a beer. They have a good selection of beers as you as you would expect but the Reuben sandwich was surprisingly delicious. The staff was friendly, the food came in a reasonable timeframe and the prices are about what you would expect from a nicer pub eatery. I would certainly go there again.
Great breakfast! Try the biscuits and gravy - biscuits are huge, sausage gravy very tasty. Comes with 2 eggs done how you like them. Great Bloody Mary.
Feels a little more like the way things used to be in this area. Good beer selection and above average food with good portion sizes. Bacon peanut butter burger is great. Good place to watch a game.
We have been coming here for years and love the food here. The devil is in the details, and don't overlook the fact that although Sunset celebrates an alehouse vibe, the chef and owner are deeply passionate about food. They are so passionate they are doing the extra work to control every detail from smoking their own salts to brining their own meat for Rubens. The combination of smoke, salt, and heat elevates your standard pub fare to a new level even the tater tots are elevated, and did I mention they offer poutine? The died chicken Cobb us amazing with a soft boiled egg, buttermilk and corn starch crispy coating and tender juicy chicken inside, it is drizzled with a sweet and spicy jalapeno glaze and served on a bed if crisp lettuce bedazzled with blue cheese crumbs. I could go in and on. If you are in town stop by. I am not affiliated: just happy to have a place like this that expresses their passion for food... oh, and an amazing beer menu on rotation.
The south hill hay maker is a delicious burger. You've got to try it! Their sweet potato fries are also pretty tasty. Good food, great service.
Great beer, service and atmosphere. The place is usually hopping. The 4 stars might be a little harsh, because the food is good, just not amazing. Standard pub fare burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips etc.
Terrible experience, the wait staff was unattentive and when the full finally came, it was cold. We did not finish it. The beer selection was weak unless you like IPA 70% of the menu. This will be the last time we dine here.
got the haymaker (with peanut butter) sweet mercy, peanut butter, Bacon AND JALAPENO?!? SOOOO filling A++ in my book
Fantastic food! I had the NY Steak Sandwich and left full and satisfied with my choice. If you're looking for a place you haven't been to yet in Issaquah, give Sunset Alehouse a try. You won't regret it.
Absolutely Delicious first time in the food was so yummy. We had the sunset cheesesteak and the Italian chicken sandwich my friend and I shared both great choices! Thanks so much for great food and service!
