Terrible place to be with kids and for vegetarians! My husbad, I and our 4 yr old went to this place for dinner. We were seated in the covered patio. We have smaller apetite than most poeple, so we ordered just 2 dishes. We got looks on ordering leas food. While waitibg for food, i asked if they had something for kids to draw on. I was told they wont have crayons, so i said just a pen and paper would do. The server came back to tell us they dont have papers. I asked her to give me one menu (which was printed papers and were being disposed after being used). We got to k ow they have ‘limited menus’ and need to get them printed so they cant give one page- really one page!!!Then the order came and the srver asked if we need pepper with the order, to which i said yes. She said the pepper is on the table. I know she was asking for the freshly crushed pepper, but i guess we (non white) were not as important guests as the ones on next table!!The food was very bland. And no one wanted to ask us how we were doing. Guess this is a place for people with no kids, who have big appetite and are not brown!!
Ordered Fettuccine PastaThe most bland pasta I've ever had. No salt let alone any flavor. Tried calling the restaurant back again, but they didn't answer.I tried it for the first time, and I'm really disappointed given how much I spent.I asked for chicken to be removed and add vegetable instead, and I still got charged extra for vegetables. The tiramisu cake is good, a bit soggy, but at least it has a taste.
Our experience here was good and bad. It was extremely busy when we got there and the hostess said they had seating outside in the covered patio which was heated. So we accepted and went outside thinking we would be able to eat much quicker than waiting for a seat inside. We were unfortunately wrong, it didn’t get us served any faster. I believe they were just short staffed, but seemed to continue to forget about serving the patio. They were definitely friendly and working hard, so that’s really the reason I didn’t rate it less. The food was very good, but the Caesar salad is more traditional, meaning it was a little more fishy than I like. Though the diner entrees were excellent! If we’re in the area again and craving Italian, it would be worth another try.
It was my first time here. Absolutely wonderful food! We both started with the Insalata appassionata. I had the Maiale Gorgonzola (very tender pork chop with a rich creme sauce) and Scott had the Lobster Ravioli (the sauce with these raviolis is to die for) Both were exquisite. Very nice evening in cozy restaurant with great food and wonderful company. The after-dinner Limoncello was the best I have ever tasted. Our service was superb. We will be back!
Always tasty. Service is always good or better. Food is a little slower than you'd like it to be but fantastic and consistent. We love this hidden gem!
This is such a cozy restaurant! The atmosphere is very chill. The staff was super attentive and the food was great! J had the chicken Marsala and it was quite delightful. My son had the kids spaghetti and meatballs and it was huge! My husband had the lobster ravioli and it looked amazing. All the food is prepared fresh and you can totally tell. The only bummer is, because the food is fresh and homemade, they run out. Get their early so you don’t miss out!
Probably one of the best Italian I have ever had, even compare to the Bay Area ones. I’m really surprise food can be THIS good!
Finally a good Italian restaurant in town! So glad we found this place, food was really good and staffs were attentive. But very noisy in the main dinning area, we moved to outdoor covered space. They brought over two floor heaters to keep us warm. Definitely will go back!
Lost our power, checked into a local hotel and went looking for a restaurant that was open. Found this little gem. Intimate, cocktail music, ambient lighting and I was relaxed and looking forward to the evening. Service was excellent, extremely attentive and professional. Ordered the pasta carbonara (enough for 4) but it was very good and will be having leftovers once our power is back. Hubby had chicken piccata, loved it, very lemony and cut his chicken with a fork. Outstanding neighborhood restaurant and it will become a favorite for us.
My wife and I were in Bellevue for work in early October and after reading the excellent reviews about this place we decided to visit. Well worth checking this place out! Fresh food, excellent dishes, great Italian flavors, unpretentious staff....just a great experience. You could tell this restaurant has a loyal following. Even on a Tuesday evening this place was very busy b 5:30. Cozy atmosphere. Very welcoming. We loved our visit! The chicken marsala was outstanding.....chicken parmesan was excellent too.
