Food was great employees were awesome only thing they need is Tabasco and lemon juice like the other locations besides that great ?

Always a fun place to take out-of-towners. The fish is always delicious. My middle child complains that even the chicken strips taste like fish, but she sure loves the fries. The chowder is also delicious.

Love me some Ivar’s. The clam chowder is great! Along with the rest of the menu! Staff here has always been nice and friendly!

Kinda disappointing experience after reading the mostly positive reviews.Let’s start with the highs: very fresh scallops, excellent coleslaw, fresh ice water, nice selection of sauces. The lows: grilled salmon was pretty obviously frozen and served dry/overdone; fries were limp and only lukewarm; “cornbread” tasted more like a blueberry muffin, smoked salmon chowder was very strongly flavored—maybe due to cooking all day? Staff certainly didn’t look all that excited to be working there.Hope this helps someone else, we won’t be returning here during our vacation time in the area.

We dropped by here to pick up lunch. Got a 5 piece fish and chips, a salmon chowder, some corn bread and a slice of huckleberry cheesecake. The fish and chips plate was $14.50 for 5 pieces and the fish pieces were not very big. It was decent though. The chowder was very salty. The corn bread was excellent as was the huckleberry cheesecake. We hardly ever go to Ivars so I guess for the once in a blue moon visit, the prices were ok.

Fresh & Delicious! I am so happy I choose this establishment today. The Cajun shrimp and Alaskan Cod were amazing & fresh! Didn’t leave disappointed. The staff is super friendly & helpful! Thank You for awesome customer service!

Another Ivar's fav spot. Quick checkout, friendly staff and food is fresh as always at Ivar. Our favorites are Fish Tacos, Fish Sandwich , Grilled Salmon plate with grilled salmon, wild rice and delicious corn bread & Clam Chowder. The Halibut plate was good but the Halibut was a smaller peice than a salmon plate dinner

Being from the other half of the country and only my second time in Seattle, I had time to sample some local cuisine. Started with the smoked salmon chowder, and was it ever great! The Caesar Salad was pretty decent too, though you could tell it had been made for a while in bulk. Still tasty and relatively fresh, and the lemon on the plate was a nice touch. I was impressed, so I decided to try the salmon and chips. I've THOUGHT of frying salmon before but have only ever had it grilled, smoked or sauteed. I always thought it would be too oily to fry, but was I wrong! It blew my mind. The salmon and chips obviously comes with "chips" or fries as we like to call them in the USA, but they could have done me a solid and cooked a few to order. I was obvious they had been sitting around for a bit. They were in that in-between area where they're not fresh enough to wow you but not old enough to complain about. However, they weren't oil-logged and actually tasted like potatoes with the skins left on. I would have given five stars if it hadn't been for the salad and fries being a bit on the elderly side, along with the dining room and condiment bar needing some cleanup attention. Overall, I liked the food and would give them a second chance if I'm ever in Seattle again.

Ordered fish and chips. The fish pieces were small and overall just meh. Nothing like in days past. Zero stars. Two stars are for service. Service was fast.

Thrilled with Ivars in Issaquah. At a time when so many local fast food places here are CLOSED except for takeout, Ivar’s is open for dining. Great fish and chips of course, friendly staff, new and clean dining area. Thank you Ivar’s for what you’re doing. I’ve always loved your food and now I have another reason to support you.
