Someone please explain why the door is still broken and not replaced months later?!? Normally this location is on top of things but definitely not lately unfortunately. They had steady amount of traffic when we were there this afternoon and it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. We got our waffles first which never happens. We've been to this location on a hot summer day with the line out the door busy and we got our drinks faster than we did today. Hopefully they can fix the front door and these issues soon.
⚠️ I had a horrible experience at this location and this is a warning to everyone ⚠️To start it off, I waited 40 minutes after ordering. That's longer than most upscale restaurants. I ordered a milk tea, a smoothie and a bubble waffle ($20). During this hour I watched them make drinks and never put the milk away. They left milk out for at least 1 hrs+. Another disturbing thing I noticed is they just kept waffle batter out in a restaurant style pitcher. It's left open faced on a table until ordered. I watched a mom of 5 kids wait for her order - she ordered 20 mins before me. She got the waffles within 7 minutes of ordering then waited 30+ for her 2 drinks. The kicker was that finished drinks were just piling up at the end and nobody was calling them out. So finished orders (like for that mom of 5) sat there for 15mins at a time. When I got my order I was skeptical to say the least. I had waited an hour and paid $20 for drinks so I wanted to try it. Against my better judgment I drank the tea. Low and behold I got extremely sick after drinking it. I couldn't stop vomiting and it was clearly food poisoning. I spent and entire evening locked in my bathroom. I am 100% sure I'm not the only one that became sick from that day. They need to brush up on food safety. I get that they were busy and maybe this was a "one off" but food safety should not be compromised under any circumstances. Avoid this location when it's busy at all costs.
UPDATE:My drink wasn't even sealed or made correctly. I'm so disappointed and angry with the service and the issues. It practically spilled all over my arm. This is unacceptable.I really do love this Happy Lemon location, but honestly recently the quality has gone down. I understand the understaffing isues and recently being robbed. But they're not recovering well. I will continue to support them because I love their store and products. But I shouldnt have to wait a half an hour for my drink. I hope they can resolve these issues soon and have a more productive and organized way of making their drinks and waffles.
I ordered twice the Avocado Matcha with tapioca. With zero sugar added . I loved it ?
This place is always busy but the snacks and drinks are incredibly delicious, so it makes sense.As of 12/2021 still not allowing dine in, which is too bad, however they always have signs posted for help wanted, so guess is they don't have the capacity (staff) for dine in seating.
I always go to the Bellevue sq location so I was excited to try this location. It's to-go only. As a previous review mentioned, it does look closed. And I had a hot tea that did not taste impressive, kinda like sugar water even with 50% sweetness level. For a $6 small cup I would expect something nicer.
I want to give this place 5 stars but as of recently I have no been too thrilled with this location.-Ordered online for pick up and they handed me a bag when I got there with my bubble waffle and cream (supposedly) I got back in my car and looked in the bag as I was driving away and the cream was missing, I wasnt far away so I turned around went in and asked for it and the lady told me "No its in the bag" the tea I ordered was super watered down-Another time I went, I ordered in the store to make sure I got everything i ordered. got back to work and there was avocado and mango crystal boba mixed in my the cream for my waffle..
This is one of our fav places to get a treat! The drinks are always done perfectly and although the line can be extremely long sometimes, it is always worth it. We usually get the Milk Tea with Oreo and Puff Cream with Boba, and the Ube Fresh Milk with Boba along with a half and half waffle. It is always so so so great!I think there is great parking in this space as well, the only issue is that the light next to this location gets really backed up so it can be a pain to leave if you are trying to get onto i90.
Tasty tasty drinks. Amazing waffles. So slow. Very crowded with limited control over social distancing.
Bubble tea and bubble waffle was great. Pain in the butt to get out of the parking lot due to busy traffic.
