We have had food from here on multiple occasions,it is ok, but the restaurant management is very poor. Their close time for lunch is published as 2:30PM, and we arrived at the restaurant at 1:30PM, the Open neon sign was still lit - the manager tells us ‘No more’, and we clarified what he meant. Apparently, they will not take us in as they close at 2:30PM, BUT their cut off time is 1:45PM, so they can’t give us a table at 1:30PM. I am not sure why they claim they are open for business with that kind of attitude!!
Food taste/quality is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes it’s good but other times it’s terrible. I have also ordered the same dish multiple times from here and never had it taste the same as the last time. After today, I will not go back. The chicken was dry and very hard. I’ve never had chicken like that. I was afraid it tasted old and went to look at their health inspections on King County’s website. While their health rating is technically good, the rating is calculated based on an average of their inspections. There were a few times we’re their health rating was so bad it was close to the level that requires a shut down. Then their re-inspection was fine but then their next inspection was very bad again. It made me wonder if businesses are informed of re-inspections? Anyway after tasting the chicken then reading what some of the violations were, I don’t feel comfortable eating there again.
Have been here a few times and it’s extremely hit and miss. I don’t think I’ll be back again though as they’re definitely more often bad than good. The chicken is extremely over cooked, so hard that tapping with a fork makes it sound like bone. The flavors of the curries don’t match what you expect and they taste over reduced and concentrated.I’ve ordered the same dishes each time and it tastes quite different each time.
I wish I could give 0 star, just for the attitude of the Owner(identified as Sharma). I have dined and ordered multiple times from this place, the food quality is mediocre at best with diminishing returns. One day I had an emergency and literally begged for a to go order of any dish(I stressed anything on the menu) at 2:13pm(they close at 2:30). The owner declined enthusiastically saying their cutoff is 2:10 and he won't even bother to check if kitchen can provide anything. So much for community support and customer obsession!
I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Dal Bukhara from Bukhara grill today. It was quite impressive how someone who is running a professional Indian restaurant can serve such a terrible Paneer Tikka Masala!!! The paneer felt like a Hardened coat of clay on top of inedible plastic. Needless to say, it was absolutely disgusting. The gravy was sour and tasted more like a tamarind chutney.Dal was not exactly the usual Dal Bukhara I have tasted here either, though not as horrible as the PTM.Overall- Very very disappointed!!!
The food was very good. We were 7 friends and had about 8 different dishes - all very tasty.
Quite possibly my personal favorite Indian food in Issaquah, which is no small feat. 5/5 stars, could order from here twice a week and not get bored. They nail my personal must haves: aloo gobi, chana masala, and daal; and have a good cross section of kormas, curries, and butter sauce options.Personal recommendations: lamb vindaloo, butter paneer, and coconut curry.I'd also be remiss not to call out the fantastic BBQ Wings, which may not be the first thing you think to order here, but are worthy of making any list of best wings in Issaquah.
Good food. Chicken 65, Dal bukhara and bhuna chicken were great. Not a fan of the saag curry.
Hands down, this is my favorite Indian place. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The food is authentic and delicious. My favorite has to be their butter chicken.
Ugh- ordered takeout for 3- tikka masala was inedible, pakora was greasy and bland, bryiani was ok but the HB egg was green on the inside. The BBQ wings were dry and drowning in a questionable sauce. For $94(includes tip)- very poor choice on our part, would not recommend this place.
