I had forgotten this restaurant was here. I craved Tonkatsu and some large shrimps (like I used to get at Tonkatsu restaurants in Japan). Regrettably, this restaurant and have smaller ones with a lighter breading which is good but two different items. I asked if they had shrimp tempura or tempura vegetables ala carte but they did not-shame. Lastly, I wish they had a Japanese potato salad and/or coleslaw instead of macaroni salad. Food was tasty, ready and quick and could tell freshly made, They had a pager I could use in my car while I waited. I beeped earlier than the official beep.
Their bento lunch special is my favorite I get the chicken katsu with salmon avocado roll every time. The variety of foods you get in it is perfect for me and it's the perfect serving size.
I really look forward to Goemon when I’m in the area. Great Japanese food and Japanese owned. I highly recommend this place.

Run by Japanese but overrated. It’s kind of expensive if protein is what you are after. This joint is carb-heavy and protein-poor. Carb is bad for you. Salmon sashimi is not of high quality. Mackerel is bland.
One bento box enough for two meals... Good varieties for a single box

Oh my goodness!! The seafood poke bowl is so good. I'm absolutely going back for take out for my birthday dinner! The customer service here is wonderful as well. I love their amazing selection. I'm so happy to have found this restaurant.
