Great place. Food is terrific. Pat Furman, owner, really takes care of customers. Always gonna be a fun time.
If you are a “regular”, you get great service and community. I’ll give the food a 2.8 rating because it is bar food. The clam chowder sucks so don’t try it. After 7. years of avoiding it because even my grandkids didn’t care for the food, I decided to give it another try. I frequented it one to two times a week for several weeks. I was always pleasant, never complained and tipped the servers 20% even though the service is pathetic. The long term servers are more interested is socializing with regulars. They bring your food, you ask for extra napkins or whatever and they never return. There’s no “how is everything? or “can I bring you anything else”. Don’t waste your time or money.
Even when prices soar around you ...at least a old local favorite is doing it's best to keep the prices level and the quality high like always. The Float staff is mine and your kind of people. Super friendly, always prompt, and great Chefs behind the scene. Every weekend.See you there !
I will always love this place. It is my home away from home. The staff is friendly! My favorite time to eat is breakfast time. I love the steak and eggs. I started going to this place in my early 20s and now I take my family there whenever I can. You guys are amazing!
Bar food, nice place to get together with friends, but don't expect much effort from the kitchen. Had a Cobb salad and they served the turkey skin (you know how you slice a turkey breast and the end of it is a handful of skin?). I'm not a complainer, but it was a pile of turkey skin, and had to return it and ask for the serving of turkey that goes with it. It was beyond the pale for a cook to serve that.
Been here a couple of times. Often ok. Today disappointing. Ordered french toast. The menu clearly says generous three slices of French bread. Received two slices of plain old white bread. Hmm. Ask what you'll actually get l, keep your menu close by so you can compare and then ask...
The food was good but it was absolutely freezing inside there. It was in the 20s outside and felt like it inside. I couldn't enjoy my breakfast because I just wanted to eat and leave so I could warm up

First time here, it was a Saturday night with a band and the place was packed. Had an awesome Buster burger and came out super fast considering how busy the place was. The band was great and a good atmosphere. The person taking care of the back room (Jessica) was super attentive and was on top of everything which was impressive because how many people she had to look after.
Such a great place to Eat! Delicious Good Service as well. Will go again. On our Next Visit! We love this place since I was a kid I am 54yrs old! 1/1/2022Update can not wait to go see my Family!! Craving some Wonderful Food from The Float!!
