Slowest MOD pizza I've ever been to. Every employee is slow. I was the only one in line and they ignored me for a few minutes while 3 employees just sat and chatted near the oven, then 3 internet orders came in and they made those on the line right in front of me, they apologized for the wait and started my order. Pizza waited on the table for a while until it went in the oven. Employee who cuts the pizza looked confused when putting all the online orders in their boxes before handing me mine. Patience was wearing very thin...
Crazy phone maze but once navigated the hold time was short. Since when do pizza joints not take custom pizza orders over the phone for take out? I have to drive there, then order a large sausage pizza with onions on one half and mushrooms on the other? It’s not that difficult kids….Pizza Hut will do it.
Love mods. This is for one persons customer service skills. Went in at a little after 5. It was busy so I expected a little bit of a wait. Placed my order and at 535 I asked about it. One man there didn’t respond multiple times he just looked at me and looked away ignoring me. At 545 the young lady cutting the pizzas finally asked what I was waiting on. I told her. She didn’t see it in the oven nor in front of her. She found it sitting at the back already in the box. I applaud her for caring and looking but the young man dismissing me when I had a concern is not right. Still love mods and will still be returning but 50 min for a pizza thats been sitting in a box in the back isn’t really acceptable.
The WORST customer service ever. I respect it was busy but no reason to speak to anyone the way I was. I expected curbside service which I always get. I may have not checked the box. Me and my walker went in and picked up the two pies. No apology not even a hand with the door? The woman on the phone was despicable.

Poorly managed, takes far too long.The first time we came to this MOD I was so excited. The restaurant had few people in line but it took about 20 minutes to order and pay. (Total ~40 until food in hand.) I thought this was a fluke.Today, on a Tuesday evening, it took 52 minutes to order and pay. Then as our pizza got cold and poorly cut as the poor employees were bombarded with orders and mix ups. Total time, 70 minutes from walking in to food in hand.I do not blame the employees working, but I do not think I will be returning to this MOD again.Two stars for MOD being generally good pizza, but this location really needs help.
The customer service has gone way down here. Only one person trying to cut and box probably 50-100 pizzas per hour. If you want to be able to walk in and pick up your pre ordered pizzas you need to set the time at least 30 minutes before you intend on walking in the store. As I’m sitting here writing this I’m fairly certain that 3 of my five pizzas are sitting done and getting cold. I’m fearful to even query about my order because last time my wife did that she got yelled at by the shift manager. These kids are clearly overworked.
What happened tonight at Mod in Gig Harbor?? We went there at 6:30 pm. Tons of people that paid waiting for pizzas, 15 or more people in line. No one working the pizza oven or helping customers.No one atthe cutting/boxing station. Ended up leaving after 15 min and no one being helped.
Great pizza, cheerful employees. Love this place ?
One pizza came out cold, 30 minutes after ordering, the other was way warmer. One was uncut, do not recommend curbside here, staff seemed irritated at checking in 5 minutes after ETD.
