Domo's Sushi is the place to go for excellent sushi. I love that they have a variety of "grouped" , delicious sushi choices, served on planks for a reasonable price. We usually have a group of four of us and order the "Uptown Platter" for $65.00They serve complimentary miso soup if you request it and it is delicious! I definitely recommend Domo's for a great overall experience! Make sure to call ahead for a reservation if you are a larger group. The seating fills up fast.
Came here on a Saturday evening after a long drive into town so we were really hungry. The rolls were absolutely HUGE! Top notch quality fish and the rest of the food is great too. We loved it so much we went back the very next day and it was even better than the first time. Found out on the second day that the sushi chefs are all Japanese, and for me this adds a level of authenticity to their food. HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re in town!
The rolls here are magnificent with a large variety to choose from. If you're not into sushi, I noticed a large selection of other entrees on the menu. Miso soup is complimentary and is also very good. The server we had was extremely polite and got everything correct. They pay attention to the little things like hot tea which is served in a sturdy pot with loose leaf tea. This was our first visit and we'll definitely return.
Domo Sushi is one of my favorite spots to go in the Harbor.When going for dinner, I love to get the avocado boat (must-try!) and order 3 sushi rolls to split with a friend. I have a larger than average appetite and I leave good and full after splitting the avocado boat app + 2-3 sushi rolls with a friend.I used to love the lunch special (1/2 roll combo) but I don't know if they still offer it... it's been a while since I've ordered it.I've tried most rolls on the menu and my go-to favorites are:- 911- Fish Lover's- Rainbow/Super Rainbow- Playboy- Baja (lemon + cilantro!)- Dragon RollI've always had excellent service when eating in the restaurant, and the take-out process is good as well.The atmosphere is usually pleasant and calm, good conversational volume, perfect for visiting with a friend.Parking is plentiful, as the restaurant is situated near larger stores such as Michael's Craft Store and Kohl's.Lastly, my wife is not a big sushi eater, primarily due to the size of most sushi rolls. The waitstaff at Domo informed us that she could order any roll "princess cut" to reduce the size of the roll and make it easier to eat.
I got one of the rolls and the chicken katsu. Both were extremely delicious. I'll definitely be coming back again

Cute place and the food was great! Been there a few times and sometimes there’s a bit of a wait. Had a server who was training and even though service was a little slow, they were trying their best, so all was forgiven. They said it was their first job and this was the only place that gave them a shot. Can’t reminder their name but she was a nice young girl, kinda short.
Never in my life have ever been made to feel so unwelcome, and uncomfortable dining out. I’m new to the gig harbor area and still newer to Washington. This has been the worst experience I’ve had and for what I got definitely not worth the money. I seriously just almost walked out and left before even getting my food. If I had cash on hand I would’ve walked out sooner even though I only ate 1/4 of my order.
It’s an AWESOME place to dine-in forspecial occasion’s for everyone as a family,a couple, or just by yourself. The atmosphere inside is peace and relaxing. Most importantly! The food is DELICIOUS!It’ll SATISFY your wants of what you choose and order to eat. They have LOTS of VARIETIES of food to choose from and also the desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was a Thursday evening and there was a 25 minute wait for a table of 2. Once We got seated they had really good food. Some of the best Sushi I've had. Good service and we got our food in a good amount of time.
