We love Dexter's. My nephew moved here from Texas just so he could eat at Dexter's more often.
Don't waste your time or money here. After standing in line for 5 minutes with 1 customer in front of me, I was ignored and service was granted to a new customer who had just walked up to the window.After placing my order of a Shrimp Burger and Salmon Burger, I was told the wait time would be 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later, I finally received my order which was repeated back to me correctly from the lady at the counter.When I arrived home, I was displeased to see I received two Salmon burgers. Not only was that frustrating but it was by far the most foul "Salmon Burger" I had ever seen. See the picture below. I should have trusted my gut and thrown it away but unfortunately I ate half of the Burger and was even more displeased. I had to stop when the middle of the patty wasn't even luke warm. Not to mention it tasted like what I would imagine a spawned rotten chum would taste like that you would find near the bridge of Minter Creek.After calling twice and being hung up on both times, the lady finally answered after the 3rd time. Third times a charm ammirite? Wrong. When explaining my experience and asking how they would make it right, she acted like she was incoherent and handed the phone to the younger kid working behind the counter at the time. After repeating myself to him multiple times, he offered for me to come back for the correct order. I would rather have my refund.. which I would still have to drive back to receive even tho the order was placed on a card. He took my number and said the owner would be calling me shortly. I knew I wouldn't ever hear back from them.Trust me when I say this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever encountered.I'm surprised the health department hasn't shut this place down. And I wouldn't be surprised if they they see them sometime soon. Dexter's Drive-In is crooked.
Fish & Fries were great, settled for soft drink because they weren't serving any hot drinks on this chilly day.
Dexter's offers a wide variety of burgers to choose from. I come every so often and try something new each time. This time it was chilidogs.
Perfectly fine local fast food. Not great by any means. Quick good service. Can order from inside or outdoor windows
This drive in has the special. Touch when it comes.to any size and flavor of milkshakes. It will be the best you have ever tasted. Cost depending on size.
Wow. How did this place get decent ratings at all? I’m a frequent visitor of the local boys craft beer tap room across the lot and decided to give this place a shot based on the mostly decent reviews. Ordered an avocado burger with bacon which is a regular cheeseburger plus avocado and jalapeños, plus I requested the add on of bacon. Took around 15 minutes for me to get my order which seems like a long time to me when they weren’t exceptionally busy, as well as for a fast food burger. Got my order home and all I got was a basic cheeseburger. Not even an avocado burger, nevermind the bacon, just a basic cheeseburger. Took my food back and asked for a refund. Didn’t want any other food. Can’t trust a place that can’t get even get close to my order and cares so little. Won’t come back. If I could give 0 stars I would.
We stopped for lunch after and it was delicious. I had the #1 which was a double cheeseburger and fries. The soft drinks are sold separately. Pictures really don't capture the size of this burger. It was huge and too much for me to finish. The sauces are $1.08/each. I tried the tartar and ranch. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely support again.
Great place for a quick bite. The food was good, inexpensive and fresh. The milkshakes are really good and there's over a dozen flavors to choose from. The place was clean and tidy. We sat inside to eat and we could hear everybody order. It seemed that everyone ordered a milkshake. I guess we're not the only ones who enjoyed them!
They were rude and slow.My girl had earned a free shake so when she went there and ordered it not only did it take them over 15 minutes but when they did end up giving it to her they pretty much threw it at her.Now normally they are pretty curious but today they were very, very rude
