I’m honestly surprised at all the good reviews. Came here for dinner with my family for the first time. Very first thing I noticed when we sit down is there are two table cloths on the table, The one on the under side is glued and stapled to the table, The cloth place over top of that is shredded and hanging down. There was a dirty used mask underneath my seat on the floor. They brought bread to the table and four plates for us. All the plates were mismatched and chipped, not that it really matters but it looks tacky and unprofessional.I ordered prawn Primavera and a Caesar salad. They brought the Caesar salad out and the lettuce was brown and wilted. The poor salad was absolutely macerated in dressing. There was no cheese whatsoever. And there were giant chunks of shaved carrots in mine. Never seen a Caesar salad with carrots. We got potato croquettes as an appetizer which were nothing more than bland unseasoned mashed potatoes fried into sticksI got my prawn Primavera and the shrimp were definitely frozen. The pieces of vegetable in it were cheap And tasted and looked like they were from a frozen bag. Bottom of the dish was just a bunch of liquid. My sister got some meat stuffed ravioli thing That looked like someone boiled some noodles opened a can of sauce dumped it all together and threw it in a Microwave. It was sloppy and she said it tasted microwaved for sure.In my opinion the food is extremely over priced and really seems to be poor quality. The food tasted frozen or microwaved and the presentation was bad.
Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor when traveling from Seattle to Shelton WA. Wanted pizza and it was near where we were. It was great. Typical Italian restaurant vibe which I like. We arrived early around 4:00 so seating was no problem. Waiter was great. We ordered the half carafe of the house wine and the Classic Neapolitan pizza and added prosciutto. It was very good. The dough was good and the prosciutto was some of the best we have ever had. We will return when in the area again.
Had dinner last night at Vinces. Waiter was good but the food was not enjoyable. Ordered Frutti de Mare and it was horrible. Came with capers and maybe I don’t like them, but very soupy with bad broth. Only had couple of bites and I returned it to the waiter. He did offer me something else and I chose spaghetti and meatballs. I am not sure if kitchen was upset but it tasted like some of the broth from the other dish I didn’t like got poured into my spaghetti. My grand daughters got spaghetti and meatballs but it tasted differently and was not bad. Just something wasn’t right and just thought others should know. I will not be returning to this establishment.
treated like dirt.....This place usually has amazing food and amazing service but one night we go to our favorite restaurant and we get seated with menus and asked what we wanted to drink. The supervisor comes out from the back and stands at our table and asked to see our cards. I made the comment, "I know I look young but okay!" He then said, "No, you're vaccine cards."I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE MAD AND MORE EMBARRASSED IN MY WHOLE LIFE.IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SO BAD IF THEY WOULD HAVE DONE IT AT THE DOOR INSTEAD THEY MADE US GET UP PUT OUR MENUS DOWN AND LEAVE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT.If you guys are going to treat us like SHEEP at least treat the rest of us as though we're human with rights. I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SO MAD IF THEY WOULD HAVE ASKED US AT THE DOOR INSTEAD OF SEATING US AND GIVING US MENUS.Our favorite restaurant is now gone
I love this place, several locations all good. There is absolutely no attempt to make this pizza joint extra fancy and expensive, but everything is tasty and good. It feels like a blast from the past but not worn down or lazy. The decor is early 80s or late 70s but not worn out.I don't have kids but if you do they would love this. If you a young and on a budget but want to splurge a bit but not too much it's a great place for a date, they will be impressed with your good taste and the friendly service will make them comfortable. The bread sticks that used to be served have recently been replaced with fresh baked bread and butter. The caesar salad that came with our pizza was perfectly made with good quality ingredients and a very nicely balanced dressing and really fresh good croutons. And the star attraction, the pizza, is semi thick crust but it has a lightness of being and is made from really tasty flour. All the toppings whatever they are are way better quality than average.I've also ordered some of the Italian dishes and they are just like the pizza they avoid being snooty fancy but sure are tasty.
My husband and I came for pizza and to watch the game. I’ve had a tough time finding a great restaurant in Federal Way. This place is amazing! My pizza was from scratch and delicious! My friend from Puglia, Italy makes his own pizzas and this is comparable! Cute restaurant with a bonus bar to watch football. My new favorite casual dining place.
Wow I have live in the area for 50 yrs and I have drove past Vince’s and never stoped until today.Great waiter Josiah recommended the spaghetti with the perfect meatballs and a glass of Malbec .. great service, the spaghetti was hot with an incredibly flavorful sauce!! I’ll be back!!
It was a bite for bite delight tonight! The smells, the tastes the service; a wonderful experience from start to finish. By far the best Italian restaurant in the Northwest! New York and Chicago, eat your heart out...
Old world Italian decor meets classic Italian cuisine. Great food and great service!
Haven't been in years, but it's still the same. Good. Pizza Margherita is fantastic! Had a wonderul limoncello dessert. Waiter was friendly, although he forgot I ordered a salad. They no longer offer complimentary breadsticks, which bummed me out.Ambiance is very good. I do not like having to show a vaccinatuon card. If I wasn't with a friend for her birthday, I would have left.
