I would visit this restaurant again and again. Before adding the salt you can taste the freshness of the soup and the taste of the beef, very delicious soup. You can adjust the taste of the soup to your own liking, adding salt, pepper, spring onion, and chili sauce. We also ordered the seafood pancake, the taste of this is hard to put it in words. The kimchi are just the finishing touch to the whole meal. The cabbage is one of the best I had tried, not very spicy and very tasteful, it is hard to stop eating them.

Excellent and authentic Korean beef soup. Grew up eating this every Sunday with my parents. It's very hearty and you can season to taste. Their kimchi, both the radish and the Napa cabbage one were on point. Tasted top quality, right up there with my own mother's.Very friendly and professional waitresses. Very pleasant and atmospheric place to eat. Reminds me of restaurants in Korea.I've been back here to eat multiple times and haven't been disappointed once. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try authentic Korean beef soup or eat some amazing homemade kimchi.

Solid restaurant - Federal Way has a lot of amazing Korean places. All my Korean friends rave about this place (including the one back in Edmonds) for being authentic whereas I was very used to other tofu houses, especially the ones around U-District.I can tell why they enjoy it, it's so simple and elegant. Nothing is overwhelming and the soup is just warming. You get to flavor your soup accordingly with salt and green onions, so that customization is also nice. However, with that in mind, nothing quite shocked me or blew my mind. It's an above average location that warms your stomach and heart each time. The plaza that this place is in, as well as the plaza next door, however, also have a great variety of Korean restaurants, so you can't go wrong coming in the general vicinity. Quantity isn't surprising, maybe a little underwhelming for bigger eaters at the value, but it's more about quality than quantity sometimes, eh?

We ordered seafood pancake, dumplings, and mixed meat beef soup. Everything was delicious. This is my first time trying the beef soup, and it was very good. I have tried dumplings and seafood pancakes elsewhere and this place has the BEST dumplings and seafood pancake. The pancake stays together nicely, none of the seafood was overcooked, unlike some others!! The dumplings' filling was delicious, the wrappers were nice and thin. Definitely will be coming back.

Don't be shy, this is outstanding! The slowly prepared bone broth soup is so rich and tasty! You just add a bunch of green onions quickly so they can cook and cool the soup a tad, plus add a spoon of salt (or less to taste). The wild rice is very nice and the kimchee is very good here, including the radish kimchee. You can get more if you eat it all, as well as buy extra to go tooOh and you have a choice of clear noodles or white, flour noodles. Usually just get the #1 soup (has brisket beef) (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

Food is perfect. But there's still room to improve about the service. The servers seemed to be very forgetful. It would be much better if they could be more observant.

The food here is ok but doesn’t deserve the hype. However my personal experience here at the first time is very uncomfortable. When we were still working on our food, the waitress let us check immediately before we were done. And even watching me sign and write the tips for them, which make me feel awkward. Will not go back again.

Want some refreshing soup and tasty dumplings? This is No.1 on my list! This is my first place at this location since i have only been going to the one on 99 but both locations are consistent. I always get the ox knee soup - make sure to add salt yourself please and don’t complain that there is no seasoning cuz that’s how u drink this soup. U put the salt in yourself so u can control your sodium intake. Who doesn’t like that? Their side dishes, pickled radish and kimchi, are also super bomb! Can opt to put the sauce from the pickled radish into your soup for more flavor as well.

Sep, 2021. Update. They put up the clear sealeds at each tables. They sell kimuchi.the menu is very simple. you can adjust saltiness(there is a salt pot on the table). Love the Kimuchi. its really good.

Front desk person who has light brown hair color is pretty rude.I won't go back there. If you want to find a friendly service with the same menu, there is another one three blocks away. You can easily find it by googling it.
