The atmosphere is very comfortable. The lighting was well done, soft and warm. The pad see ew was delicious. Shareable portions. The tea is made with loose leaf and is quite good. The staff is very courteous and attentive. Not a bad place to take the lady for date night ;)
It's changed dramatically since it first opened. One late night some years back, we ordered yellow curry and I was terribly disappointed because it was so watery.We ate there recently but the ambient atmosphere had changed. Perhaps due to the pandemic. Food was excellent but I didn't recognize anyone but the owner who was on his way out. I miss M but wish her all the best.
Wonderful little Thai place in the area. We come here at least once a week and they are just consistently excellent as far as the food goes. The service is fine, not great, just very standard, nothing to complain about.My only complaint at all with the place is that their menu is way way too big. They easily have over 40 dishes to choose from and these are not similar dishes with slight variances, these are very different dishes. Whole grilled fish to lamb curry, to noodles, to stir frys, soups and salads, to Thai street food, grilled food, traditional Thai curry, duck dishes... It goes on and on. The menu is so packed that they don't even have room on it for a drink list. So far the chefs have been able to keep up with having to cook so many different dishes so fingers crossed it stays that way.
Very pleasant experience. Our server was Great (Yeti/Veti) Forgive me if I didn't say the name correctly. No photos I took but my friends and I had just come from skating and wanted something refreshing. Thai Bistro was just that. The food was superb and the quality of service was on point even in this plandemic lol. I appreciate the service. The Thai Iced Tea was jammin, and Compliments to the chef because I enjoyed my Yellow Curry Fried Rice. Had leftovers to go and the wontons were good too. Top of the line and great for a girls night, date night or take out. Thanks Thai Bistro will be returning. :-)
I love the way this restaurant is set up. It is lovely. The staff is great. But, the food was bad. The Tom Yum soup was okay. It was sweet instead of spicy. And the Larb Chicken tasted funny. On top of that, you can tell they microwaved the sticky rice. It was too hot to even hold it, and when the sticky rice cooled down, It was hard.
Good overall selection of food. Beer was a good price. Drinks were a little bit expensive but givin they used exotic fruit probably worth it. Waitress was extraordinarily nice. Even put up with my roommate who was being way to flirtatious. Nice decor.
We get Thai food from here every other week and love it. Huge portions and a large menu. Fantastic Pad See Ew and Mango Fried Rice!
Every dish we had was extremely tasty!!! We brought our food home, but next time we really want to dine in!!! This restaurant is BEAUTIFUL!!! Fabulous details in the decor!The food is a bit on the expensive side but totally delicious!!! The containers were full and each dish was exquisite!!! Definitely will be back!!!
We were here in Tacoma visiting daughter. She took us here become she loves the food.She is gluten intolerant & lactose intolerant, but finds this place to be wonderful. Hasn’t had any food problems since coming here a year ago.Customer service was great & restaurant was very clean. Love the atmosphere.Great selection in food & good portions. All three of us had enough for a dinner meal. Wife’s input was I quote “I loved the quality & taste”
