great service, good food
Red Lobster offers a well-lit, nautic ambiance, with tasty food that is reasonably priced. The staff allowed us to enjoy a rather lengthy catch-up time, without pressuring us to go--a very nice touch!
food was good I don't need to recommend to my friends, those that like it eat there those that don't don't.
The only thing good here was the lobster my husband got. Three times we got something we didn't order, the fish I ordered was borderline not cooked long enough, the wrong veggies they gave me where mushy, the popcorn shrip hardly had a crunch to them more soft then anything, I ordered a simple drink that took over 45mins to get my husband ordered a drink 15mins after I did and still got his way before me I also noticed a try sitting by the waitress area that had the same foods and drink we ordered sitting there for 45 min if not longer and was still there when we left it was never given to anyone. Also the little machine they ahve tou pay on was dirty like it doesn't get wiped down very often. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location hopefully someone has a better experience then we did.
We had a family member place a takeout order and asked if we could pick it up on our way home. It still needed to be paid for so my boyfriend went in to pay and grab it. They repeatedly told him there was no order under the name given. He had to call me 3 times from inside the restaurant because they kept telling him no. We said first and last name of the order and they still told him NO?? after they JUST called to say that the order (under the name he kept giving) was ready for pickup? I finally went in the restaurant myself to figure out why they wouldn’t give him the order he was still paying for. Absolutely no excuse for this incompetence!! They made him repeat himself several times when he was speaking clear as day what the name was!! His accent is barely noticeable! and even told him to WRITE down the name because they “couldn’t understand him”. When my family member finally called to see what the issue was, they blamed it on him and told him he wasn’t saying the name correctly and that they placed the order under only her last name and not what she told them over the phone. Huge waste of time. Train better.
they make the best Salmon and Steak. I'm not a seafood enthusiast... so can't comment on the rest of the food.
I'm a red lobster lover usually, but not last night. Salad was missing croutons, bay scallops were horrible- fishy and chewy, coconut prawns were mushy. At the end of our meal, the server just left our plates there, didn't attempt to clear anything. And its not like it was cheap, we paid $180! Also, the music wasn't working in our section and more than half the sign outside, the lights were out. We will never go back there.
Love the food here! Whenever i have a seafood craving, this is where i start! Food are properly seasoned, not bland. Their new Crispy Brussel Sprouts is so delicious! The sauce goes very well with it. Their stuffed mushroom is ok. Could be better. Portion size is enough. Those shrimps and lobster tails are addicting lol. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant interior is a little outdated but as long as it doesn't affect how they make their food, not that big of a deal. All in all, 5 stars ?
I normally love eating here, but we had a bad experience tonight. We were ignored for almost 10 minutes after being seated, watched the table directly next to us be seated after us and served first, dealt with 3 different waitresses for some reason, one of our bacon wrapped scallops appetizer was missing the scallop, my mom's side dishes were not brought out until we were finished with our meals and were ready to leave - and she never received one of them...Not sure what was going on... they didn't seem short staffed. But I wish someone would have addressed us sooner and just told us up front if we were seated incorrectly or something. I accidently left a big tip that I don't think was deserved, and I really hope the service is better if we ever go back. The food was good though.
It took an hour for our food to show up. Would not seat us until the whole party showed up. Disappointing. Server was great, food took forever. Lobster Soup was too salty.
