This restaurant cooks very good food and their menus are wonderful, but their customer service is the worst I ever dealt with in my life.. The manager is so disrespectful. He yelled at me one time because I asked how long it will take. The other crew members tend to ignore you when you need help. The service is very slow. They are just very rude.
We ordered a 10-piece Family meal. 10 pieces of mild chicken, 2 large sides and 5 biscuits. They didn't hesitate to take our payment, and then only afterward did they let us know "For mild, we only have breasts. The legs and wings are only in spicy." We agreed, since they had already taken our payment and we were hungry, but a few seconds later, my wife made a comment to me how they didn't mention anything about thighs. We confirmed to the person that handed us our food and she told us there are all the types of pieces inside. We came home and opened the bag to find they had only included 9 pieces of chicken: 3 wings, 3 legs, 2 breast, and 1 thigh). Different than what the ticket called for (see pic). How are you gonna substitute a wing for a thigh and leave out a whole thigh?!? Also the large sides were not filled up properly. The biscuits were the only part of the meal they got right. Go somewhere else for food, if you value your time and money.
I went through the drive through and order a eight piece meal for $32.00. I got home to find out I have chicken and blankets, no side. We called and the general manager said he wasn't part of the conversation and they were out of the side I ordered. Chicken only would of been 20.99 plus tax. We will never go back to this poor service and poor management establishment. Some people should be loosing there jobs with this type if service.
They are so hit and miss... When they are working as a team the food is pretty good. Not the case yesterday. I had the Spicy Flounder fish sandwich no pickles, 3 spicy chicken tenders, and 2 blacken ranch sauces.They got the fish sandwich correct kudos, it's was as ordered and hot. As for the 3 chicken tenders... well they were not spicy or fresh. No sauce at all even though it was repeated 4 times at the drive-through, and reminded at the pickup window. The response was yeah it's in there. My suggestion is just go inside to order and check it at the counter in front of them, or do the same while sitting at the pickup window. Since QA is not happening at this location. Also the guy working the order window was having trouble just getting the order in.
So we like Popeyes and about once a month or so I stop and get my boyfriend and I lunch (legot I have $50 in ones’s because due to covid it was exact change or card so I started saving ones for them)with my daughter….so last week I stop grab lunch get to his work and you’d be amazed how GROSS AND DRY this chicken is without sauce especially when you said it 8 times, SWEET HEAT and it’s on the receipt seven times!!! Also got nuggets that also went to waste because we had no sauce! $50 in chick and no sauce was a waste of money BIG TIME!!! This isn’t the ONLY time this has happened smh! The sauce truly makes the chicken because without it, ITS DRY AS HELL!!!??
Don’t bother going here the last hour of closing. Regardless if you have 5 minutes left you should still do your job in a correct manner. I Got to this location about 35 minutes before closing. I was with a couple of friends and we ordered two orders of the chicken strips since options were limited due to them almost closing. That was fine, the female that took our order told us to park out front since they had to make the fries fresh. We did as she said and almost 15 minutes went by we saw her leave the building with bags of food and get in her car to go home. When we approached the people still in the building they had no idea what was going on so they asked for a receipt which the female at the window that took our order did not provide. I had to pull up my bank info to show them I was charged. The guy helping us apologized asked what our order was and said he would accommodate us with extra food for the inconvenience and asked what we want for a free meal and asked for a name so we could come back anytime before the end of March and get some free meals. When we got our order about 20 minutes after they closed there was no extra food. It was just plain and simple like nothing went wrong. I will give this place another chance if they honor the free meal that was promised but besides that it’s horrible the work ethic and morals of these employees this Popeyes location chooses to represent themselves with.
Ordered 2 2 piece spicy dark chicken. Got 1 spicy piece 1 mild piece. Chicken was not hot, fries were cold, biscuit was cold.Mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. Surprised since the drive through was very busy, you would think that the products would be fresh.The health department needs to check in with this restaurant. Serving products that are not at proper temperatures is very scary. You can make many people sick. Especially serving poultry.It’s not the same standards as when I worked for Popeyes with In Germany on the base. This is very sad!
Disappointed!We don’t have Popeye’s in Bellingham so it’s a treat to get their chicken and red beans and rice. We saw they had Mac and cheese, so of course we ordered that too! We stopped at the Popeye’s off Enchanted Parkway in Federal Way, WA, but knew we’d never make it home without sneaking some chicken.WOW! Not a good wow either!The chicken tenders looked more like chicken nuggets, small pieces, perhaps half a tender. We went back and I took one box of chicken in with me to show them what we got. From what I remembered, this wasn’t their typical serving size. They made it right for us by giving us extra pieces of chicken, and a few more just in case our other box was the same. That’s the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. A big Thank You for that!Unfortunately, I didn’t peek at the Mac and cheese. It was supposed to be a Large Side, but instead there were about 4-5 bites, and a large piece of brown stuff, possibly scraped off the bottom of the pan(?) that was less than appetizing.This trip to Popeye’s was a huge let down, except for the great customer service I received when I returned with the disappointing chicken. I guess I should have checked the entire order before leaving. If I knew how to post a video or picture, you all could see what I dumped onto the saucer, under the guise of “a Large Side of Mac and cheese!”Live and learn!
I don’t ever go to Popeyes and my husband ask me to pick up some food for him. I was at the drive thru and was ask to park upfront since my chicken will take a while to make. Seeing that they’re a little busy I didn’t mind. They told me 5 minutes it will be ready. I waited in my car, 30 minutes come nothing, 45 minutes late nothing. So I decided to go inside and ask if my order was almost ready since it’s almost an hour. All the staff looked at each other like they’re confused, I show them my receipt with the order number. Then they ask each other did someone bring it out. I told them I been sitting in my car seeing people get their food before me. Finally one of them admitted to giving my food to someone else and was going to have me wait after other orders to make my food. Finally one of the staff told them he can do it really quick. Oh I get a sorry and do you want an apple pie. I don’t care about an apple pie! I care about my time wasted! It’s not that hard to bring food to the car and ask what’s your order number. This location is unprofessional and slow!!
Had to do drive threw and as doors were closed. After we got our order I pulled out and I thought I should check it. Yep! not every was in there. I went to the door and knocked just to show my recipe and asked for missing items. There was a lady sitting RIGHT by the door on the computer, a young kid walking from behind the counter with food to a table that all saw me. Neither did anything. I knocked a few more times and a nother young guy saw me that was working behind the counter, did nothing. I went to get my phone to call and the number and it rang 4 times, had a message and hung up. By that time the lady that was at the table was now at the counter talking to a nother girl that was on her phone, I knocked, they both looked at me, I showed them my recipe and one turned around and the other went back and look back at her phone. They was Nothing on the door that said they wouldn't open to help a customer with missing items. I would have had to go BACK through the drive through were there was about 10 cars. AND!!!! Just LOOK at this Mac n cheese!!!! O.M.G this is awful and at $5 tub. Other then maybe chicken, we won't be getting anything from here again.
