This used to be my go to spot in Federal way for both teriyaki and pho. I ordered a banh mi and it was terrible. I don't say that lightly either. I have had a lot of these around at different spots (including Oh's sandwiches in West Seattle which is amazing) and this was the worst sadly. It had zero sauce besides the tiny bit of grease that came off the meat, and the veggies were soggy instead of crunchy and fresh. The service was very slow too despite them not being busy at the time. Overall, my past few experiences here have proven that their service and quality has devolved since Covid.

Eaten here several times and have personally never felt like it was up to par, you can tell all of the food is cooked before hand and stored in tubs, unless you get the pho your food comes out cold and dry. They’ve been shut down for health code violations before and I see why, I had shrimp mixed in with my chicken the last and final time I ate here. And it seems like no restaurants even wipe down their high chairs anymore.. absolutely disgusting.

We have came here for YEARS & after last night I won’t be returning. Customer service is by far the most horrible especially from Yel or Yen I don’t think I have ever seen her smile in the years I’ve come to this place. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB … QUIT! The food quantity is less and more expensive, they charge you for everything (to go plates, sauces, ) I am tired of it, and I won’t be retuning anymore. Hopefully they get it together.

The food is good. The problem I had was that I could call by phone to order the food. When I arrived at the restaurant, they had prepared the food to go. I asked them if they could serve it to me on a plate to eat inside the restaurant and they refused. serve it on a plate because they had already prepared it to go I didn't want to be rude to them and I paid for the food and ate it inside the restaurant but in the end I realized that I didn't mean to be rude to them but I think they were rude to me I really don't think I'll go back to this restaurant

I like their food here but they literally have the worst service of any food establishment I’ve ever been to. Their servers usually have an attitude. And every time we’ve come inside for dine in, they make you wait for 20+ minutes to be seated even though there are tons of open tables. It’s almost like the workers don’t know how to prioritize their responsibilities correctly. Just now, we were literally in there waiting while a bunch of other people were also waiting to be seated. We left because who the heck has their customers waiting for THAT long to the point where there’s no more space in the waiting area even though there were a lot of people working?!?! Ridiculous.

I appreciate this place for being open late and the variety of items on the menu. I've been coming to this place for years. The pho is good, the bahn mi is good, the boba is good. The restaurant has good vibes and is clean. The only thing, which is a big only, is the customer service leaves much to be desired. The cleaners and the bussers are great, but the servers and the cashiers are cold and slow. You may need to wave the servers down often and be ready to order as soon as they sit you down for quick service. Otherwise, plan to be there for a while.

Horrible customer service! I have given this place too many chances and it never changes. The employees and manager are rude. They threaten not to serve us. My friends and I used to come here a lot. We will no longer be returning. Officially done with this place. STAY AWAY. Support other restaurants that actually respect their customers and give good service.

Worst customer service I have ever personally experienced (manager in particular). I have given this place multiple chances and yet they still failed to serve me and my friends properly. The manager kept showing attitude and yelling at our friend that they were not aloud to sit at the table close to us because of “covid restrictions” and kept raising her voice louder to the point of where we heard her yelling at them from across the room. Not even 3 minutes later other people were seated right next to us where our friends asked to be seated. She sat them down at a table that was furthest from ours(feel like purposely). My friend stood up to grab napkins that they ran out of. As soon as he did and was walking back to his table she ran up to him and threatened to call the police (which she was showing as if she was, by fake dialing and placing the phone next to her ear)for “stealing napkin” as she called it and she did not stop screaming at him for it until a couple minutes went by. Quick little message to the normal severs and workers that are working there (if they have any to be quite honest)Quit! Find a better job. I don’t think it’s worth it for the pay and manager they have to deal with while they work. It just puts me in extreme disgust being treated like this every single time I went there not once NOT EVEN ONCE did I have normal customer service and experience without the manager (that looked like if Edna from the Incredibles and Lord Farquhar from Shrek had a child *most respectful way to put it*) yelling and throwing fits and nonstop threatening with the police when all we want to do is just EAT! Not worth it what so ever. If you are the owner of Pho Tai and you see this message I think it’s time to let her go and I promise I PROMISE you will not regret it.

Tall skinny waitress that took our order was rude! The fact that she walked around like she hated her job, she had no customer service. Treated us like we were not PAYING CUSTOMERS. And took it upon herself to change our orders without asking us.Who does that!!!?!?! She said she was trying to save us money. Which was far from true! She messed up!She NEVER came back to give us water, and brought our appetizers after our soups were already out.And not to mention, for a pho shop… their soup was watered down. We had to use a lot of plum HS to give it some flavor. Overall we chose not to finish our soups and went elsewhere.10 years ago compared to now…. Very different. The young gal who cashed us out was super sweet and kind. But we would not recommend this place being that there are so many other PHO THAIS that will give you way better service and the pho taste so good you don’t even have to add anything but spice to it! Save your money and dont support a business that treats their customers like garbage. But if we were meeChangss I bet we would have better service.

The soup, fresh egg roll, and fried egg roll were great. We ordered the combination which was actually cheaper than ordering individual dish. Table service was also ok.When we paid for our bill, my wife ordered Bolba to go. It took the person behind the counter forever to make the Bolba. My wife had to remind him 3 times to make the smoothy. Then, when he finally made it, it was all wrong. The smoothie was watery. I think he rushed making the drink. This ruined dinner.Went back after coming back from Oregon. Bad experience with service. First they forgot to take our order, then did not deliver the food on time, then asked for more water and never came.
