The food is good, since I’m choosing what ingredients I want, but every time I go they are so slow. Went and there was only a single person in front of me with one MOD size pizza. My whole experience I was there was about 30 mins and mind you there was only 1 person in front of me and no one after me for about 10 mins. My pizza came out and all I could see is the staff talking and laughing which is fine but it really does not take two people to fold a box. I’ve never been anywhere where the staff is so slow on anything and there was 5 people in the front working. It makes no sense how slow they are working.
So I'll start off by getting to the main point which is that I very much like MOD Pizza over several of the other options out there. Sure I wish they had improvements like a wider variety of crust to choose from and different sizing options but when you get to basically control your toppings the way they allow at the price they set it's very hard to complain. It certainly a good value and very high quality compared to a lot of the franchises out there selling super cheap dough and incredibly limited toppings all for the same or a much higher price.Overall I think MOD keeping it simple is doing the right thing and I can hope they only expand a few of their options while keeping their core process the same. I've never had an issue with getting extra toppings or the toppings I want and none of the toppings have been old, spoiled, or in any way poor quality options. If you're tired of the other pizza places or they're very bad selections with food that's either too greasy or not very fresh then this is definitely the pizza place for you. Even with improvements I'd like to see I would still be happy and continue to go back if they don't change anything at all.Normally I try to be fair and cut down a few negative elements just to balance out the review but I'm struggling to come up with anything that really sticks with me as an issue. So all I can say is give him a try and I think you'll be pleased.
DisappointedTried ordering online and for some reason the website is down down so I tried calling into the restaurant to try and place an order because most people working only get 30 minute lunches and time is limited.. Instead of taking an order online they told me that I could go and place an order through doordash and pay an extra $3-5. Why should the customer have to pay more due to a company error? The time before that I ordered online and waited for a good 10 min before a employee said I could grab my pizza off the rack eventhough they have you go into a line for outside orders and I could see it was done isn't it the employees job to hand the pizza to the customer lol
So gross and unsanitary, dirty environment she did not wash her hands or change her gloves at any point of time I had to request for her to do so.. That is just not OK with me and then she’s talking all over the food to other customers just talking that is gross. Please let’s do better because your quality of food is great but that type of service and this type a dirty environment is not OK thank you
The pizza is always great, the staff is another issue entirely. On my recent visit the first employee in line asked my order, started to write it, and proceeded to ask if I had any adds, which I had three. She said 'Nevermind, you can just add them as it's being made.' So my question is, what was the point of asking me then?
Great place. everyone is so friendly in their own way pizza comes out perfect. Honestly way better than pizza hut. I read some reviews before writing my own and I’d like to say to anyone whom hasn’t had a decent “experience” I think truly you wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Anyways I’ll be coming back and Tipping cause these folks deserve it. And Respect COVID friendly rules. Damn Karen’s??
I just ordered dinner and the counter staff cared more about pushing people through then getting their orders. I wanted to order a simple salad with my dinner, but they didn't even care about what I was saying. When I tried to say I wasn't done ordering they looked annoyed. What the heck? I like the pizza most of the time, but I can't say I've had too many pleasant experiences at this location.
The staff were pretty friendly but they skimped on the ingredients. The ingredients they did put on the pizzas were just thrown onto a single spot without being spread out. The store was out of straws, which was pretty unfortunate for the kids. Asked for the pizzas to be well done, but they were still soggy. The tables were all very sticky and the cup lid dispenser was coated in grime. There were also no napkins available. The atmosphere was pretty nice, but people who dislike music playing at higher volumes would likely be quite annoyed.Wasn't a terrible experience, but could have been better. Overall, disappointing compared to pre-COVID visits.
Tasty pizza and friendly people. Unfortunately they do not have plates anymore and no straws. I understand this is due to Covid. However, some restaurants managed this somehow.Btw, I never saw this place without a line. So, prepare to wait your order. ;)
This place is ran by brainless management. I’ve been here several times and it’s always closed hours before actual closing times. They seem to constantly make excuses on why they’re closing early. These workers don’t even want to be at work. You can see it in their demeanor. Workers were working like a bunch of sloth’s, which I bet is why they were “backed up”. Tonight, especially, was the last straw. They said they couldn’t take our orders in person, online only, because they were so backed up. Where is the logic in that? Why not just put my in person order behind the most recent online order? I wouldn’t have minded waiting. I’ve been here at least 5 times and have never gotten food for these constant excuses. Never coming back.
