The all you can eat BBQ tasted good but pricey ($29.99 per person) comparing to other AYCE Korean BBQ restaurants in the area. I didn't like their pork belly, the outer layer skin was very tough. My favorite meat was the spicy pork bulgogi. The service was not great. The waitress has a poor attitude, she makes a face everytime we ordered more meat. There's also a time limit of 90 minutes.
I cannot speak more highly of Mirak, it beats out any Korean BBQ in Tacoma by a long shot and reminds me of being in Korea. All of the women working are not only incredibly kind but ensure all sides, sauces, and meat are always full. We make sure to bring friends and guests from out of town to this perfect spot.
Absolutely love this place especially since they started doing an all you can eat lunch and dinner. Dinner is only $28/person too. Definitely a good value even with a limited menu. I especially like the updates they've made to the restaurant too. It's a lot brighter and more open. Absolutely a good place to eat Korean BBQ. Friendly people and gooood food
In a sea of Korean restaurants in Federal Way, Mirak is truly a hidden gem. We've been here 3 times thus far and the consistency of quality speaks for itself. The weekday lunch AYCE BBQ is $20 at the time of this review, and comes with 8(!) banchan, side salad, and rice. Brisket is USDA prime. Bulgogi is very well marinated save tender. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal elsewhere. Try their specialty Korean liquor!Their banchan dishes also rotate regularly. You'll have to come multiple times to try them all ?
Very good quality meats and delightful staff. My wife and I have had Korean BBQ Countless times across 4 states and this may be one of the best. Definitely the nicest and most attentive staff and the bulgogi was top notch. The accouterments to supplant the meats were a wonderful compliment and all went very well with the main course. Good price as well. We will be coming here again, for sure.
We had an amazing dinner here with EXCEPTIONAL, kind and considerate customer service at Mirak. Their food and service were A+++! We took my mom there to celebrate a big birthday and they HOOKED us up! The sister owns Shabu Shabu-Ya next door and she brought a complimentary birthday cake over for us that was out of this world!!! Her husband owns @june_bakery_bellevue and it was one of the best cakes all of us have ever had. Please support these small businesses that are so delicious, kind and thoughtful. We’ll be back soon! The best Korean BBQ spot like ever! Our favorite lunch spot! The staff are so attentive and joyful! Absolute best best best place! Literally can't get over how amazing it is!
If you prefer to grill your own meat, look no further. The buffet is great and the banchan is one of the best I've had in the area. The kalbi was also marinated really well. Our server was really nice, she forgot a few request at times, but apologized each time and brought them out asap. Overall, considering we had a large party, everyone enjoyed their experience and we'll be recommending this place to friends.
Everything here is delicious! I love their Korean BBQ, Bibimpap, and their Banchan. They tend to get very busy during later hours for Korean BBQ and the wait time for your stuff to come can take a bit long. But I think the wait is worth their delicious food. Many of the workers are hardworking and do their best to make sure your experience is great. The downside: Some of the workers don’t even wear masks. It leaves a very unsettling feeling especially during a pandemic. The back workers who make the food and also clean the area don’t ever wear masks. It just feels disgusting and sometimes makes me reconsider if I want to eat here. There was a review a few months ago where another customer pointed this out and the resturant responded that they require masks when around customers. But, that’s not true because recently, I notice them both walking around where customers eat without a mask. They also should be wearing a mask in the back because they are handling our food that we are eating. They also don’t check vaccination cards, which just seems like they don’t really care too much about the pandemic. It seems like they care more about their business operating.Another con: There’s one worker that seems to always make mistakes whenever she is our server.
Authentic Korean BBQ. Tender meats, delicious sides & sauces, quick and friendly service. First time here and will definitely be coming back!Bonus: On my way out of the restaurant, I caught these insane leg cramps. Both legs cramped so hard I couldn’t walk at all. It lasted at least 10 minutes. The two workers at the time took notice and went completely out of their way to help me. They gave me water, helped me stretch, and even massaged me. Sounds crazy right? Hahaha but I swear it’s true. You can ask my fiancée for proof! They are amazing people with really good food.
