July 24, 2022Second trip. Bought 3 different items this time to try out the store’s offerings - Lunch special Carnitas Burrito, Lunch special Taquitos, and California Taco Salad with beef.California Taco Salad - Not as much beef (Machaca?) as I liked, and the overall tasta was pretty bland. Adding additional Salsa from the salsa bar did little to enhance the flavor much. The accompanying rice and refried beans tasted fine.Lunch special Taquitos - Daughter ordered this, and her conclusion is that the dish was bland.Lunch special Carnitas Burrito - This was consumed 2 days later after storing in the fridge. Of the three, this was tasty and skewed towards the salty side. Eating it with the pickled Jalapeno and carrots added the right amount of tanginess to enhance the dish. The red salsa was very spicy, but lacked other tastes.Comparing these foods to the Tacoma Memo’s offerings, the pricing is a little less though the portions were also a little less. Taste-wise, Memo’s has a large edge over this store. I rated Memo’s with 5 stars, but this place lies somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars. Staff in both places were pleasant. To handle a late night hunger, this place is totally satisfactory._______________________________________________________________June 18, 2022This was not a planned visit, and it was my first time to this store. Had to get some change for the car wash (Coin dispenser busted at car wash. Sigh!), and the store was opened at 8:15 a.m. This location is not big, is opened 24 hours, and has several parking spaces surrounding the building. It is beside Pacific Highway S in Federal Way so getting in and out is easy, except when traffic is backed up. I suspect it mainly caters to drive through traffic.I walked in through the north entrance, and am immediately in a good size dining area. Seating is mostly aligned to the sides of the room. The kitchen area is to the immediate left. Menu is posted above the ordering area, and is large and easily readable. Food prices I consider reasonable (under $10 mostly). There is a “salsa bar” towards the south side of the dining area and serves various salsas, small yellow Aji Charapite spicy peppers, and pickled carrots with Jalapenos, etc.The cashier who took the order was pleasant. Ordered a bacon breakfast burrito (my go to item to gauge a new place during breakfast.). The food was delivered rather fast. The burrito is large for the price paid ($7.30 with tax), and packed fairly well with bacon, egg and fries. It tasted a little bland (lack of saltiness in the bacon?), and overall drier than other bacon burritos. I also usually prefer my bacon breakfast burritos a little greasy. The food tasted fine with added salsa and condiments. At this stage, I rate this location a 3 out of 5 just based on this quick purchase. This may change after experiencing more from this place. Definitely worth a visit for a filling quick meal.Happy eating!P.S. The menu at California Burrito looks very similar to Memo's. Can anyone verify whether these 2 “chains” are related somehow?

About as close to San Diego taco shop mexican did you're gonna get! 24 hours and a drive through but the staff is awesome and it's worth going inside.

This place is a gem. The food is so good, and there can be a line of 15 cars at the drive through, and you'll wait a total of 10 minutes to get your food and be on your way. They're very efficient. Awesome place all around.

WOWSERS!!! Friendly staff, great service, good food, fast. I had the two fish taco combo and my husband had the carnitas torta. Mine had lots of fish and my husband's was loaded with meat. Great value!

I've been here a few times now and always utilized their drive-thru. I honestly have had great and timely service for each of my visits. The food is ALWAYS fresh, the perfect temperature, and delicious. I can see and taste that they use REAL ingredients for their food too! It's an added bonus that they're open 24/7 and you can order the breakfast burritos all throughout the day. The steak and egg burrito with the Mexican Salsa is my favorite. That salsa just gives the burrito an extra burst of flavor that's a nice surprise!! Try them out. You won't regret it, I promise.?

Amazing experience! Looked online and saw them a couple weeks ago thought to myself maybe I'll try them. Came in today with my wife and ordered some of the best food I've had in a while. They have a very extensive menu with a variety of options for even the pickiest of eaters. Their Carne Asada fries were the best I've ever had. The meat is so juicy and tender and just felt so good in my mouth. By far an amazing experience and will return again to eat the great food.

Having moved up here from Southern California...we were worried about finding Mexican food similar to what we used to get back home. This place is really good and comparable to what we would get back home. Also, the prices and not overpriced. Which is a big plus too. Other unnamed places around are way overpriced for what the food is.We enjoy the food here and the staff is always super friendly

My go to spot for breakfast or lunch. Great burritos, amazing value. Steak breakfast burrito is great, the shrimp burrito is absolutely amazing. Almost all items on the menu are less than $7. If you have a huge appetite and a small budget, this place can't be beat. Food is great, staff is nice.

Very average. Good price and they seemed friendly at the drive thru, but the burritos are bland. The fries are super soggy, and the meat and cheese has very little flavor. Salsas are pretty meh. You kinda get what you pay for…

Food is good. They had a long line of cars.I think they should have someone taking orders out in the drive-thru.Went inside and it was quick and easy to order.Fish tacos are good.Carne asada fries are the bomb.
