I made an order online & got a notification that my order is ready for pick up. When I got there, they said they didn’t have my order so I showed them my receipt from my phone that I did in fact made an online order. It was embarrassing to see multiple employees look at me like I made a mistake when the mistake was actually on them. I understand, it happens but it was how it was handled. One employee rudely said “all online orders are already done”. Not only that, I had to wait around longer while they scrambled to get my order done & gave us the wrong dressings on top of it… It was sloppy work on their end. Customer service is definitely needed in this company.
This is one of the better Cafe Rio locations that I've been to. I'll generally stop in here for lunch or dinner getting the salad. The main mixed with the drink runs about $16. They're pretty fast at getting people through the line when it's busy and have excellent customer service. The dining area, kitchen and restroom are generally very clean. I highly recommend stopping in here.
It was FILTHY!!! Please see photos below.To start the fiasco, there was no soap in the ladies bathroom. How are employees supposed to "wash before returning to work?" ?We ordered after slathering Hand Sanitizer. The person who served me was rude and bitter.She gave me half of what she gave my friend, on the same order.The food was GREAT, but after we ate, we saw filth on the floor, on the trash bins, on the windows. We both felt like throwing up.Our bad for staying there, not walking out.
The food tasted fresh (no digestive issues), but everything was bland. Bland chicken, bland pico, bland salsas and the cilantro rice was hard as a rock. We must have gotten the remains before a rush of fresh food? I don’t get the hype. The cashier was really nice (a teenager with short dreads).
Love this place! I used to go to a different location all the time and moved somewhere they didn't have any. I just moved again and found out there was a Cafe Rio less than two miles away and had to go. The food here is great and if you're in a rush you can order in the app and pick up super quick. Using the app also gives you points toward free food. For every $1 you spend, you get 1 point, but there are often deals with 3x points or birthday store credit. Once you get to 100 points, you can cash out $10 in store credit.
4/24/2022 Very Messy food spread. Individual serving at the front was arguing with co workers. Ordered a burrito enchilada style which is supposed to be served with red salsa and I was given green salsa instead. When I went back in all they said was “Here is some red salsa, its all we can do”.
Great salad with the sweet pork! The tomatillo dressing is a must. Excellent on the salad and I always get a cup to go for dipping tortilla chips into later.
From New Hampshire - we are used to Chipotle. This place was leaps and bounds better. We got two burritos, two drinks, and a side of queso for $40 even. Large portions and the queso was delecious.
The pork carnitas here are amazing! We make a special trip out of our way just for them. I highly recommend it!
The food isn't too bad. Similar to Chipotle type places. Some of the proteins and beans have way too much liquid so it makes everything soggy for my preference. The home run here though is there flour tortillas! I could take a stack of those babies any time!!
