The staff here is wonderful and helpful and friendly, and the coffee isn't bad either ??
ANTI-MASK ESTABLISHMENTI would not come here again. I came in and greeted them. They just stared at me didn’t say a word and looked annoyed. Didn’t say anything at all and didn’t confirm my order. Never had a experience like that. I was wearing a mask and maybe that’s why they were annoyed with me. They were not wearing any masks. From other reviews it seems this place is anti-mask and treats people with masks rudely.Don’t come here if you plan to wear a mask. They will not treat you well.
Rude guy at the register, just stared at us without any greeting until we ordered. No masks on any employees (we realized later that they are in fact an anti-mask establishment, and most likely their poor customer service towards us was related to that). Coffee was burnt and watery, but the overall experience left a worse taste in my mouth.
I love this little coffee nook so much! I cannot begin to describe in words how amazing the staff, food, and coffee are but I will try to do it some justice. First, the coffee and food are local as their coffee brand is Poverty Bay coffee (shade grown coffee that is tasty, organic, and very good for you) grown in Washington and roasted in Seattle is as local as it gets. Their food comes from LaBrea Bakery which is also in Seattle and very fresh and tasty! The staff are always smiling and wonderful communicators, as well as providing a warm vibe and local crafted goods like hot pads made from corn with awesome designs. I will always be a loyal customer forever!! Thank you everyone for your high standard of service and dedication to great coffee and an even greater vibe.
I definitely need to add another negative review for the anti mask rhetoric that is evident at this place. I cannot in good conscious support a business with practices like this either. If they cannot do a simple thing like wear a mask to help society during a pandemic, then they do not deserve our patronage. I recommend you stay away if this bothers you too. As far as the coffee goes, there are plenty of other places with better coffee in the area. Coffee was okay, but there are definitely much better around the area.
I drove out of my way to support a local business over a chain, and despite lots of marking about healthy food and COVID safety (contactless mobile ordering, mask policy posters, signs on the entry, etc) neither of the staff behind the counter were wearing a mask. It’s just so disappointing. I chose not to patronize them, so I can’t say anything about the quality of their offerings but they looked good.
Since Starbucks is converting many of its Fed Way stores to drive through only I was looking for a new place. This isn't it. The employees and many customers don't wear masks during a pandemic that has killed 750,000 Americans. They are trying to sell their disregard for public safety as a stand for freedom. Ick. I'll keep looking for a place that serves good coffee without hurting the community.
Great coffee, happy staff, even the other customers are fun. This small, delicious shop is a 10.
This place has very, very good coffee (I always order a drip with no cream or sugar when I try a new coffee place so I can assess the flavor of the bean without alliteration). I also ordered a breakfast burrito, and while it had nowhere near the spices I'm accustomed to, it was packed with smoked bacon that gave it all the flavor I needed. If you live in the area, or are just passing by and haven't given the place a try. I highly recommend.
Reading the recent reviews and I gotta say, I love this place even more! It’s not just that their coffee is the best coffee in the king country but also because they don’t DISCRIMINATE unlike everywhere else!! Thank you Asensio for standing up for freedom❤️❤️❤️
