Umami is delicious!! I love coming here. Prices aren’t too bad and it’s right next to my school. The people that work there are always so sweet and give great recommendations. I got a Taro bubble tea with strawberry jelly and one of the chefs special sushi burritos. Both were delicious and well made.
AMAZING!!! We're so glad Katana's was closed! We really wanted poke and this is our new favorite place. We also had the Seahawk GIANT sushi role/burrito, so good!!! Don't think, just go here.Day 2: we liked it so much last night we came back for more this evening! Poke was again AWESOME. We also tried the Snow Mountain sushi burrito... incredible! Please eat here, you won't be disappointed.
I really wanted to like this place because sushi burritos are hard to come by up north. Gave them about a dozen tries.I guess all I can say is don’t ever order takeout over the phone but order in-person because they frequently get the order wrong.Today I ordered two salmon burritos with just salmon and avocado and a side of sweet mango sauce to-go. Despite me confirming multiple times that I did not want any other toppings, they stuffed the burritos with fake crab filler. Why? Lol. And they forgot the sauce. And then if you do get toppings, they’ll just barely put in any fish in there at all, like 3/4 of a scoop for an entire burrito.They cut corners and before you know it you’ve paid 14-15 dollars for rice and initiation crab, mushy avocado and like 5 tiny chunks of salmon. I think they get enough business to stay moderately busy so they feel like they can cut these corners but the thing is, this is what’s keeping them from ever being a GREAT restaurant like FOB in Seattle or the Zen sushi burrito spot in Tacoma. Just focus more on quality, fair portions, and getting the orders right and you could have something awesome.
Had the eel burrito and it was delicious! Super filling and the equivalent of 3 full sushi rolls. Would recommend going here for the food.Also had a matcha boba, but I would not recommend it. The bubble teas are made using powders, and you can definitely taste the graininess. Most of my boba was good and soft, but I did have a few pieces that were not cooked properly. Also, my drink wasn't stirred very well because there were a few matcha chunks at the bottom. If you are thinking of going here for the bubble tea, I would recommend going to an actual bubble tea shop (like sharetea).
First off the food was great. However… when I ordered an eel burrito. And then asked for the extra protein. I was charged 10$ for the extra. When I asked. They told me that ethe word extra = $4 then because it was eel. It was an additional $6.. I fully believe that I was over charged and they just didn’t understand what was going on. If you look at the menu it clearly states that the eel burrito is $15.95 then next to it, extra protein $6 but no.. don’t believe that. It’s actually $10.
Incredible poke place! I brought my friend here for her first poke bowl so it took a while to look over the menu and ask for suggestions. The girl working was very helpful and patient. We defintely want to go back. The food was delicious! Quality ingredients and great service ♡
My friend just DoorDash’d me some Boba from this place, and in the comment note for the order, my friend asked them to say Happy Birthday to me. They sent the order with a little sticky note, and it honestly made my day. I was having a pretty bad birthday, but this was really sweet. Thank you. <3
I'm not exactly a regular follower of this restaurant. Their location is nice being down the street from Providence Hospital in Everett. The one time I did go the food was okay and didn't seem very fresh to me. I may go back and try it again. They did have some different items here that you don't find at other sushi restaurants and that was really nice to see their variety.
Yum! The Seahawks sushi burrito is amazing!!! Lots of flavor and a little spice, not too messy and very filling! I also ordered the gyoza which was cold when it arrived but still tasty, and the sauce with it was really good. I will definitely be coming back to try the other sushi burritos! :)
I purchased the takoyaki, the snow crab burrito, and two boba teas. The only good thing from this order was the strawberry boba. The mango boba was severely watered down in flavor. The burrito was 50% avocado and barely anything else. And the takoyaki? The dough was RAW. I got sick after this order. Either they do better or go some place else. I wish I got my $40 refunded because this is disgusting.
