My son and I visit Thai Valley at least once a week. The owner and his wife are so kind and our meals are always delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!
I'm really glad I found this place. Food was delicious authentic Thai taste. Good atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Decent price for lunch. I liked the combo option idea.First, the chicken satay was juicy and had a great flavor. I love the fact that they put the peanut sauce on the plate so it's easier to dip with the stick. Their cucumber sauce was very delicious as well.Pad Thai Thai style (not the lunch option) was on point. It tasted so good. Tasted just like original Thai recipe.Wonton noodle soup was delicious. Their wontons were homemade, they were very generous with the filling. The broth was a little bit salty for my usual preference but it was not overly salty.Red Curry lunch combo was very good too.Kaprow lunch combo was very great varieties including spring roll, pad Thai, and other choice you pick. Their pad thai from lunch special was decent, not the taste I'm used to but it was good. Kaprow was a little bit saltyMango Sticky Rice was really really really really good. The mango was in the perfect condition, ripe but not overly ripe. The sticky rice was on point. I wished they put more coconut milk on the rice tho (it was so good and I needed more)Thai iced tea was very good, not overly sweet.
The food was ok. I liked the gyoza the most, but the rest was ok. The sweet and sour pork combo had mostly vegetables. The pad Thai that came with it was bland. The crispy pork wasn’t crispy. The person that was working was nice though.
The owner knows us and always is cheerful.
It was very clean and employees was very kind courtesy. I ask if I was able to have 2 entrée meals as one meal with half and half made and they had no issue with the request and adjusted the price of my meal accordingly. When I got my meal the orange chicken I had was one of the best if not the best I honestly ever had and there star rating on spice was on point. I love my spices and usually I ask for the highest rating star they could conjour up in the kitchen and I still would ask for a spice rack but there 5star is a real 5star and I didn't need to ask for a spice rack which even my wife was in shock. Highly recommended and wish they had a location closer to my house (whitecenter - west seattle) area so I could get food from them at least once a week lol.
I expected more from Tom Yum soup.Unfortunately, it's not even close to soups that we ate in Thailand just at the street markets. Noodles were good though
Very excellent sweet sour pork. Veggies crispy and sauce super tasty. Killed my glucose, but worthy of praise for freshness and taste. I spiced at level 3 and was just right. Nice decor once you are seated. Great portions for the price. Overall a very nice meal in an unexpected location.
The food and atmosphere are great. I told the man who was serving that I had walked with my four small children to have an adventure that ended at the restaurant and that we would be walking home as well. I left my keys at the restaurant when I left and the man who was serving drove to find me to give me my keys. They are always very accommodating to my children as well. I have only been there about 5 times, but the food is great and the service is exceptional. I have no affiliation with anyone who owns it works at this restaurant.
Very good, love the atmosphere. Food has good flavors. 2 lunches under $25; that's what I'm talking about.
My husband and I tried this place today and yuuuuuuuum!!!! We got the panang curry, orange chicken, potstickers, and fried wontons. All so good! The fried dishes were so crispy and delicious, just perfect! I hate soggy fried foods and have experienced this at a number of Thai or Chinese restaurants in the area, so this was such a pleasant surprise! We will definitely be back!!
