5 of us drove up for a concert and stopped at Ray's per the reviews online. After getting through the line of fans, I ordered the crisp chicken sandwich. No complaints except trying to keep the huge chucks of chicken on the buns! The blackberry shake was a refreshing sweet treat. YUM!3 out of 5 loved it. My sister had the stuffed mushrooms but didn't like the quantity for the price! My daughter just wasn't feeling well. I enjoyed it. Thanks guys!!
I don’t see the legendary status that people give this place.Fries didn’t taste fresh.Burger patty was very dry and thin.Fish sandwich was good.Fried mushrooms were good.Fried chicken sandwich was okay.I just don’t see how it’s the best burger in Everett (according to many claims). Oh well!
So stinking delicious this place ? Their chicken strips basket is SO moist and imho they have the best fries in town (if you like the skin left on your fries, then you'll love them too) BUT no large size cups restocked to your supply so I could have a large milk shake. I was way disappointed by this and your extra large shakes are like $10! Dang! What you should have done is given me the extra large for the price of the large. That probably would have gotten you more stars. Hopefully next time I'll be able to get what I came for.
Went there because my wife wanted to try the fish and chips which she said were great. I had a burger basket with cheese and bacon. It was alright. I certainly wouldn't go there just for that. So the 4 star rating is for the fish and chips, if I were rating the cheese burger it would get 2 stars.
If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. Overall everything was good. We got a burger and the fish n chips.I ended up here because they were in the newspaper as the second best place in Snohomish county for a burger. I don't think the burger here is anything special... It's a fast food quality burger in my opinion. It tastes fine but it's just a forzen patty.The fish n chips which they claim are "the best you'll find anywhere" were pretty good. I read the reviews before and I agree 1 tarter won't quite cut it since you have fries as well so we bought another tarter. The fish was very crispy and had good flavor. The fries were half crispy and half soggy/soft.I would come back here again and probably order the fish n chips again and maybe try the chicken instead of a burger.For the type of place this is, I got what I expected and paid a fair price.
Their menu states the fish & chips are the best in town or something(I didn't really give it much thought since it's very common for restaurants to make claims like this) so I figured they must be at least decent, so that's what I ordered. I cannot stress this enough, they make THE BEST fish & chips ever. Like, this is it.. this is the final tier of all fish and chips.I feel like it's necessary to mention that if for some reason you wanted to postpone eating the best possible F&C's, like maybe you're still young and want to experience other's out there, well then do that first. Because I know for a fact that after today's experience, I will no longer be able to enjoy fish and chips from other places the same way I used to.The coating is so crispy but also very light, but the fish is flaky but not crumbly. The "me" that arrived at the restaurant compared to the "me" now are two different people as far as I'm concerned. I'm a changed person now, one who knows what the best fish and chips around taste like.
You have to patient, because everything is made to order, but it is well worth the wait. So worth the wait! Their burgers are delicious. The milkshakes are awesome. And the employees are friendly.
Best juicy burgers and tender, crispy fish fry in Everett, period. The always-hot, homemade french fries are soft and wonderful. The food is slightly more expensive than chain fast-food places but infinitely better. You will not be disappointed.
Rays is great! My favorite burger is the double rays burger and their fries are handcut and delicious! Also, if you enjoy mushrooms you've gotta try their deep fried mushrooms, they're not like the normal little bite sized deep fried mushroom you think of when imagining fast food deep fried mushies, OH NO these are big and juicy inside and crunchy on the out and pair great with ranch. The fish and chips are also very good.
This place is right down the street from my work and I have been trying new places in the area lately. First off, great quality food. The reason I give it 3/5 stars is I paid $11.00 for the fish and chips meal, and the amount of food in the basket didn’t even fill the whole basket.. they could’ve at least added another fillet or more fries. On top of all that I only was given a single tarter sauce and it’s not enough for all 4 fillets that they give you.
